We have curated the resources and gathered the staff who shall receive the training on behalf of the GOMA stake pool team. We have had multiple meetings internally, and connected with the team and marketing lead at POA (Proof of Africa) stake pool, as part of the ASPA (African Stakepool Alliance) efforts.

With members of our team on vacation in the past 1-2 months, and taking leave of absence with sickness and family situations, the progress of the project has taken a temporary pause but shall resume. We have continued to host the weekly session for our core team and the community support sessions. We also have been supporting the Leads by joining the meetings to help explain what Cardano is and start exploring ways they can join the ecosystem. We also have had the treasury team fund the different completed Leads so they can be compensated for their amazing work.

This has been a little harder than expected and we now have all of the PB contributors helping spread the message through their individual networks. We have already paid around 2000 euros, and have purchased a camera for 750 euros to produce suitable media for the event. That means a total of 2750 has already been invested to produce the first Cardano workshop. As part of a local ETH event, where we are the only project representing Cardano in collaboration with SohoHouse BCN. On the 25th of October, we will be hosting our first workshop as part of the event, introducing the creator community to the advantages of using Cardano and sharing experience on how to use NFT as a tool to build personal brands.

We also have hosted an in-person Principles for blockchain 4 good class to continue to discuss how these different ideas should be defined.

We have created lots of material to help onboard the Impact Lead Generators. Currently, we have onboarded 3 impact-driven orgs to Cardano through our Impact Lead Generators. Many of the newly onboarded LEAD Generators are going through the onboarding material and scanning their networks to generate LEADS.

Research has continued as well as partnership discussions for distribution, sharing and promotion of the results and findings of the research.

We have started to migrate the last version of the Cardano impact projects database to the new PB database so migrating our projects can happen with ease. We are almost at our goal of onboarding the project onto the PB database. We just need to add them in the next integration of PB to make these changes live.

The research is ongoing and I am happy to see so many more impact projects and proposals that are explicitly aiming to make progress and work towards achieving the sustainable development goals!

We are on track to port over the first Cardano projects that are building in the Cardano #Blockchain4Good ecosystem into the open access database of Positive Blockchain. The DB new integration ran into a couple issues with will allow us to add more to the next release of the PB database.

The Proposal Framework Tool with its integration of the HDI adjusted to planetary pressures is being worked and encountered some development delays, but will be ready for public use ahead of and during Fund 10 proposal submission.

The research is ongoing and we are happy to observe that there appear to be more proposals that are directly and indirectly connected to the SDGs and Impact!

We are currently working on integrating the UN Planetary Pressures Adjusted Human Development Index (HDI) into the SDG Proposer Tool.

We have finished up a couple more articles and our site page migration. Currently, the website is being reviewed for the accuracy of the translation.

We are working on adding the additional framework to the Proposer Tool and aiming for it to be ready for use with the additional frameworks by proposers during the Fund 9 proposal phase!

We are currently carrying out research into how funded proposals from Fund 8 connect to SDGs and the results in comparison to fund 6 and 7! Exciting times!

The project is taking longer than we had expected. We will need another month to finalize things.

Two institutions were meant to set up stake pools, so far only one has managed to do so with the GOMA Stake Pool at ISDR/GL in Goma, DRC.

We faced challenges setting up the server in Goma for external access, but this has been resolved and the Stake Pool should be operational.

Thank you to all the team efforts and the Project Catalyst team in helping to bring this tool to proposers as part of proposal submission :) we are carrying on with the tool to improve it and add frameworks.

The research article has been submitted for peer review in the Frontiers journal and is under review. We are continuing to conduct research into Project Catalyst and how it connects to impact.
