Checkpoint Learning and Media

Checkpoint will endeavour to engage its already established user-base to educate in blockchain, crypto, Web3 and metaverses. Using our digital magazines, our podcasts, our outreach programmes as well as our future planned activity, Checkpoint is in a unique position to really spearhead the wider understanding, adoption and implementation of blockchain technologies, especially within the gaming sector.

Checkpoint will run a number of high quality editorial pieces across the brand - these will include audio, video, written and interviews with industry experts.

It will also employ a number of specialist teachers to continue to create high quality, meaningful learning resources for use in schools.

Adoption in the non-crypto world is hard. Because of this, we hope to utilise our already existing reputation to help identify the positives in blockchain. Especially as we’re Cardano based, it gives us a good foundation to work from as the Cardano ethos is aligned with Checkpoint Learning.

We are already providing lesson plans using videogames as a vehicle. We want to ramp this up, get more teachers involved, do more marketing for our content that we’re already creating and lead the discussion. The roadmap will see more schools and educational institutions join our learning over the coming months. Checkpoint Learning is already in discussion with English and Scottish education government departments, and further conversations with schools in the UAE, China and South Africa.

In 2023, we hope to start providing the materials in Arabic and French.

In 2024 Spanish and German.

The budget will primarily be spent on teacher training, development of more lesson plans and on-boarding of teachers to help create more lesson and home learning materials.

Development of lesson plans - $1,200 each (three plans expected)

Teacher on-boarding - $6,500

School deployment logistics (getting it in schools, getting the kids to engage and using their content in the magazine and multiverse) - $1,400

Contingency - $500

An all-round, multi-skilled broadcast journalist specialising in audience identification and a pioneer in technology to find new ways to engage with an ever-growing global audience.

Content will be key here. Across the platforms (magazines, podcasts, websites, mutliverse and more) Checkpoint will create content informing and educating those who are already in and those who are looking to get into the blockchain ecosystems. In addition to this, we are proposing an industry focused magazine that explains blockchain and how it'll work in combination with web3 and multiverses.

Success looks like people consuming our content across the brand. In addition, it is also measured by the fact that we're able to secure marketing spend from game publishers for advertising across the brand.
