Cardano Developer Community Indonesia 2025: Learn Demeter, Blockfrost, MeshJS, and Aiken

Please describe your proposed solution

Problem :

Most blockchain developers and software engineers are more familiar with EVM blockchain-based development tools such as EtherJS, Web3JS, Solidity, etc. Not many developers and software engineers know about Cardano blockchain development tools, and also when newcomers learning how to become a Cardano developer and how to build on Cardano, they experience difficulties because there is not much educational content about Cardano Developer, especially in Indonesian language

Solution :

Provide free educational content on Cardano Indonesia's Youtube channel about Cardano Developer. The content will cover basic concepts, implementation in code, and also example code in Cardano Developer Community Indonesian Github.

Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community

Answer:

  • There is a developers' community forum for learning, discussing, and innovating on Cardano in Indonesia.
  • There is educational content available for developers and software engineers in Indonesia that is easy to access and free for anyone who wants to learn Cardano.
  • The Indonesian Cardano community and the general public are familiar with developer tools on Cardano such as Demeter.run, MeshJS Web3 SDK, Node Provider BlockfrostAPI, and Aiken Smart Contract Platform.
  • Opportunity to add new Cardano developers to accelerate Cardano adoption.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources

Project Management :

  • As treasurer, calculate the budget, manage finances, and distribute funds -> 2 hours x 4 Milestones x 50 ADA = 400 ADA
  • Onboarding and Proof of Life -> 2 hours x 50 ADA = 100 ADA
  • Milestones Report and Proof of Achievement -> 2 hours x 4 Milestones x 50 ADA = 400 ADA
  • Project Closeout Report (PCR) -> 2 hours x 50 ADA = 100 ADA
  • Project Closeout Video (PCV) -> 2 hours x 3 persons x 50 ADA = 300 ADA
  • Close-out Meeting (Catalyst) -> 2 hours x 3 persons x 50 ADA = 300 ADA

Material Delivery & Content Creation : 5 hours x 33 Videos x 100 = 16,500 ADA

Video Editor : 2 hours x 33 Videos x 30 ADA = 1,980 ADA

Total Budget: 20,080 ADA

No dependencies.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The salary for the Project Management role is 50 ADA per hour. The salary for the tutor role with a developer background who creates content is 100 ADA per hour. The salary for the video editor role is 30 ADA per hour. The ADA/USD rate we use is 0.35. We have conducted research and surveys on salaries on the Upwork platform as a reference, here is the link.

We believe that the project proposed in this proposal is conceptually very simple and realistic, making it very achievable within a 4-month timeframe. Additionally, the total budget proposed for this project is relatively low but has the potential to develop the Cardano ecosystem and also has the potential to increase the number of developers in the long term through Cardano Developer content that can be accessed on Cardano Indonesia YouTube channel.
