Please describe your proposed solution
Background :
Cardano is a leading proof-of-stake blockchain platform, enabling secure, scalable, and sustainable decentralized applications (dApps). Blockchain technology has become a revolution in industries across the world, offering innovative solutions to complex problems. Smart contracts deployed on Cardano are increasing; however, the number of Cardano users is declining. The following link is the research conducted by CryptoCaliburn as user experts in the Cardano ecosystem, which provides evidence that the number of Cardano users is declining. People are becoming increasingly familiar with blockchain technology. However, in general, a deep understanding of DeFi platforms such as Levvy or Fluid and other DeFi platforms may still be limited to a small group of people. Therefore, we will attempt to educate people at MCU (Maranatha Christian University), including students and lecturers, and potentially open it to the public through a workshop.
A Cardano developer workshop has been held at Maranatha Christian University in Bandung, as part of our Fund 12 Proposal. Our last collaboration was limited to 40 seats for students, yet about 100 students registered to join the workshop, so we had to implement a first-come, first-served basis. We believe that by widening our target audience to include university students in Bandung, regardless of their university affiliation, we can increase the number of participants. Allowing all students to join will connect individuals from different universities across Bandung and foster collaboration and innovation in the blockchain space. We believe that every student has unique ideas for building dApps. Thus, when they have the opportunity to work together in groups and receive mentorship from professionals, their ideas could significantly benefit the Cardano ecosystem.
With this in mind, Mr. Oscar Karnalim, the dean of the Faculty of Engineering and IT, has agreed to collaborate again with us—Valdryan Ivandito and Cryptocaliburn—as representatives of the Indonesian Cardano Community to conduct a full-day workshop on the Cardano ecosystem. To generate interest from all universities, MCU will also collaborate with other experts in the cryptocurrency sector to share their experiences with blockchain. The event will be held at Maranatha Christian University in Bandung City, Indonesia.
Solution :
- Creating a full-day workshop to increase awareness about the Cardano ecosystem, especially DeFi platforms such as Levvy or Fluid. By leveraging our connection with Maranatha Christian University, we can spread awareness of the Cardano blockchain across several universities in Bandung. The workshop will includes :
- An AMA (Ask Me Anything) session with several experts in cryptocurrency. Having diverse perspectives on blockchain and cryptocurrency will greatly enhance participants' knowledge.
- Workshop about the Cardano ecosystem that includes :
- Cardano wallet apps such as Lace or Eternl
- DEX such as Minswap or WingRiders
- Lending & borrowing platform such as Levvy or Fluid
- Basic technical analysis or price action analysis
- Creating Feedback with the attendees
- Create questionnaire to the attendees
- Create Whatsapp or Telegram group with the attendees to keep updating about Cardano Blockchain
