Please describe your proposed solution.
Paima Engine is a framework for building gamification and gaming use-cases for blockchains. It already comes with multiple templates such as board games, onchain ai, card games, rpg game and more that can be found here: <https://github.com/PaimaStudios/paima-game-templates>
We want to build even more templates, especially around gamification use-cases such as
- Point systems where users gain points for real-life actions (such as purchasing a drink)
- Traceability where the state of an object updates
As well as games and apps of different genre
We do not commit to any specific template as there is quite a lot to pick from, and we want to avoid committing to specific templates that others may have already built by the time Catalyst ends.
How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?
This benefits Cardano by having many open source templates that entrepreneurs can use to kickstart their business
How do you intend to measure the success of your project?
- Number of projects that launch using use-cases inspired by the templates
- Traction of the Github repository for these templates (stars, watchers, etc.)
Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?
All templates will be open-sourced under an MIT license on Github
