We plan to install and maintain wifi services in three rural school districts in the Cordillera region of Paraguay. Using the necessary funds we would plan out and execute this installation in multiple elementary schools and a high schools using ISPs like Tigo/Personal/Claro. Additionally, computers will be provided to these schools so students and staff can make proper use of it.
The Cardano blockchain has the ability and intent to provide a decentralized banking infrastructure that stands to benefit the currently unbanked regions of the world the most. As revolutionary as this technology is, it remains irrelevant in areas that lack access to the internet. By providing internet access to students at a younger age we create a pathway for the next generation to become more involved with the rest of the world, their education and blockchain technology, and integrated into our community as well.
The primary challenge we foresee is the lack of infrastructure in the region making it difficult to carry out our plans. Fortunately, we have extensive connections in both the ISP industry as well as the electric industry in the area. As a result, problems of this sort will be solved by our ability to get the right people together to ensure things run as smoothly and efficiently as can be.
