Please describe your proposed solution.
Perceived problem
The main problem here is linked to the improvement of the sanitary conditions of the Congolese population. Significant support for the health system which has many flaws in strategic and operational implementation.
This is, on the one hand:
Aspects related to the vaccination of women and children under 5 who are subject to so-called mandatory vaccines during a certain period of their lives. The main problems in the African environment are those related to weak communication in the field of vaccination, very frequent cases of forgetting vaccination appointments, doubts about the importance of vaccination in guaranteeing the prevention of certain diseases and the growth of children, the organization and implementation, by the national health system, of vaccination activities as well as the monitoring of this process, the production of statistics and the recognition of unvaccinated targets for their personalized supervision. To name just that…
And on the other hand :
A difficulty and/or impossibility, both for doctors and for patients, to accurately establish the problems of medical antecedents of patients before making a decision for the diagnosis and especially for the treatment of diseases.
Stakeholders
- The Congolese state in general via its national digital and health ministries and health zones
- Health structures (hospitals, hospitals, health centers, etc.)
- Cardano: For the management of everything that involves financial transactions (for example, patients will have to pay all the costs in cryptocurrency, health insurance would be an asset with the contributions of the insured since in the congo there are not really structures that manage health insurance in a well-organized way)
- All households (families) who will act as user-patients
Results
- A web app
- A mobile app
- a USSD callback and interaction system.
Among many others, the following features are guaranteed:
- Automated management of vaccination schedules
- Personalized monitoring of the vaccination process: From the top (Ministries) to the recipient (Women, children),
- Management of the shared medical file (For each family)
- Registration for health insurance
- Financial transactions in cryptocurrency (preferred)
Consequences
- Reduction in the mortality rate caused by non-vaccination and/or neglect of hereditary disease factors
- A very adapted follow-up and an improvement of the health system
- Valuation of cryptocurrency in the Congolese and African environment
Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.
A system that automates and personalizes vaccination schedules will incorporate a reminder process to prevent missed vaccination appointments. A personalized follow-up of the growth of each child is ensured according to his age, his weight, his height taking into account his diet.
Appropriate communication on vaccines followed by advice and guides in the event of specific problems.
A facility for doctors to establish diagnoses very quickly not only thanks to the permanence of each patient's file, but above all by also taking into account their history.
Thanks to crypto, guaranteed accounting and ease of carrying out transactions.
People will not always need the availability of liquid funds to provide care through the insurance they purchase.
What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?
-
The main risk is the political environment of the country which is constantly changing. To work around this problem, the project should start from the low level and gradually move up until it reaches the top level. Start at the health zone, then at the division and provincial ministry finally propose to impose at the national level.
-
The following risk is related to the adaptation of the population to digital and the consumption of a very complex application. This is why the project should be delivered gradually with some basic modules first, then evolve by submitting other modules as improvements. The user cannot be able to understand everything at once, it will be necessary to go gradually
