United Caricature

Charles Hoskinson is talking regularly with the community through youtube videos. His messages are inspiring and share the vision and work of Cardano. When I got to see his videos I also got hooked by the message and energy and especially by his life mission to create better systems for all. At my elderlyage, I saw many inspiring leaders and Charles is definitely one of them. This was my entry point into blockchain and Cardano.

First I started with creating the hoskintoons.com NFT project, which was also recognized by Charles in one of his videos

and I am looking into using my expertise to promote Cardano in a unique way and also through a Cross Chain Collaboration challenge. United Caricature The idea for this proposal is United Caricature, a weekly caricature (Caricature) that will show the importance of collaboration between chains for the common god of the block chain industry. This proposal will focus on a timeframe of 12 weeks and will therefore produce 12 caricatures. Subjects could include what is common between the chains and how the various chains could mitigate external threats (misleading information) or support positive legislation. Doing it in a creative way could have a huge impact between chains as well facing the publick.

How might we create connections and collaboration between Cardano and other blockchains in the next six months?

Through fun and creative Caricature - one image can bridge many gaps

Why is it important? Interoperability of blockchains and multi-chain awareness guarantees shared success of the cryptoeconomy as a whole.

Creative way to present the importance of cross chain could lead to higher awareness and openmind between blockchain communities

There are not any major challenges for the creation of the Caricatures.

One key challenge could be to set up the storyline, find key ares we want the Caricatuers to represent and the connecting line between each weekly caricature. This will be mitigated first by the vast experience of the proposers and second by having some community brainstorming sessions at SWARM post town hall.

Another challenge we are considering is how to be able to generate revenue so the work could continue for a longer period of time. We will evaluate NFT models for it.

The roadmap is straightforward

  • Brainstorming session with the community re subjects (week one, and week 5)

  • Preparation of list of media channels (week 0-2)

  • One Cartoon per week for 12 weeks

  • Sharing on a weekly basis with multiple blockchain community media channels

  • Add a section of CrossChain collaboration (by Cardano) in our website (by week 3)

  • We will evaluate in the process building NFT model for it (we are already collaborating with Cardanotrees <https://shlomocohen.com/show/apocalypsea>)

  • KPIs& deliverables

  • A list of media network

  • 10 - 20 media & community channels to publish the Cartoons weekly

  • Number of viewers is difficult to estimate, but we foresee to pass a million impressions overall

  • 100s of sharing on social networks

Weekly Cartoon x 12 weeks x USD 500 = USD 6000

Marketing & PR USD 500 per month x 3 months = USD 1500

Communication with media, meetups, emails, website = USD 1000 per month x 3 months = USD 3000

Total budget USD 10500

posts using the hashtag connected to the collection eg #caricatorada

A weekly Cartune will be shared in media

A final report and ppt will provided to the community

Inspiring communities through Caricatures to build bridges between communities

Media sharing of the Caricature across community media channels

Getting to mainstream media
