Currently, on chain gaming communities grow through word of mouth and social media. This has lead to isolated communities that are only exposed to games building within their current blockchain. In conjunction with this, NFT game creators have no wide reaching platforms for promoting their games and finding new players cross chain.
We believe a solution to this is to develop a podcast that can serve as a media hub for games building in this new play-to-earn industry. In our podcast, we interview verified NFT game developers across a multitude of chains to expose listeners to new ideas and begin to break down the barriers between gaming communities.
To be a guest on The NFT Gaming Podcast, the game founder must go through an application and interview, which helps us ensure a level of authenticity and transparency. We believe this will help us build a credible brand voice for NFT gaming that will last long into the future.
The NFT Gaming Podcast is hosted by Jason and Jacob, the founders of Duo, the NFT card game on Cardano. Jason has over 10 years of experience as a technical founder and developer, and Jacob is a professional YouTuber and designer with 5 years of experience in startups. This combination of hosts is key to the dynamic flow of the podcast and the depth of topics covered.
In our first season, sponsored by Stocktwits, we interviewed guests from a multitude of chains, and we’ve had tremendous feedback so far! We have already seen cross-chain collaboration beginning with partners rallying behind the vision of player owned gaming. We are looking forward to producing a second season, highlighting even more games.
We believe The NFT Gaming Podcast is a key component to unlocking collaboration between games, developers and players across different blockchains. At Revelar, we believe, a multichain world is both inevitable and beneficial. However, a thriving multichain gaming world will require game studios to have cross-chain exposure. The NFT Gaming Podcast is a perfect way to facilitate these interactions and begin to open people up to the idea of a cross-chain team.
As The NFT Gaming Podcast becomes a wide reaching media outlet, we believe there is an opportunity to become the future industry leader in NFT gaming related content from all chains. By actively promoting Cardano through this platform, we will not only bring more collaboration to Cardano, but will also increase our chain’s overall exposure to potential gamers and developers.
Our world today is full of risks, especially with the unknown nature of our global economy & workforce.
-
Unable to find guests: When launching a new season, logistics around finding and scheduling guests can be complicated. We aim to limit this through an application process that includes scheduling times in advance.
-
Platform policies: Certain social media platforms have restrictions around advertising NFT related content. While we try to always abide by all platform policies, if platforms restrict or ban content related to NFTs, it could affect the reach of our podcast. We believe the best way to mitigate this is to quickly build an audience that supports our work.
-
Technical problems: Managing remote recording, as well as in house audio and video can be a challenge. There is always a risk when working with digital audio and video files that errors may occur. We attempt to limit this by recording on multiple cameras and making multiple file backups.

There are likely other risks, but we believe these are the primary ones to take into account and mitigate along the way. Again keeping in line with the Challenge Brief, we want to deliver the highest value with the least amount of technical sophistication to grow the community.
