Solution

Our solution will be a web platform where students will find themselves in a community and will be able to share their ideas, raise funds and join forces with engineers from all over the world.

Problem

Student entrepreneurs have exciting ideas for starting a business but often face the problem of lack of funds and qualified engineers to help them materialize their ideas and projects.

Please describe your proposed solution.

Our solution will be a platform that will allow students to:

  • Create accounts
  • Publish their academic research, study projects and ideas
  • Create a project channel where the student can publish (texts, documents, comments and other media) related to his project
  • Create a portfolio for your project
  • Create links with scientific collaborators (other students or engineers) who can advance their research (teammates)
  • Raise funds for your project (funding) via the Cardano ecosystem

And also allow engineers with special skills to create accounts and submit projects that they find interesting.

• The stakeholders of our project will be:

+ Students

+ Engineers

+ Donors(investors)

• Our project will be implemented in stages:

  • Design of the data structure (database)
  • API architecture design
  • Implementation of user interfaces
  • Interconnection of interfaces to the API
  • Functionality testing
  • Application of latest patches
  • Deployment of the solution on an online server
  • Popularization of the platform via social media by sponsored advertisements.

The particularity of our platform lies in the fact that it will bring together 3 categories of people (students, engineers and funders) who, in everyday life, are not easily in communication.

Our solution will benefit:

  • To students, by offering them the possibility:
  • Easily find qualified engineers with the required skills to carry out their project.
  • To find development funds, thanks to the CARDANO ecosystem, to finance their projects and research.
  • Engineers, by offering them the opportunity to participate in ambitious and interesting projects with young entrepreneurs.
  • It will also benefit CARDANO, by expanding their community to an important social class of our society, namely young people.

Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.

The challenge being to provide student entrepreneurs with a place to call on their ideas and an opportunity to connect with engineers, our solution overcomes this problem, not only by giving them a space to publish their ideas (projects) and put in contact with engineers, but also by offering them the opportunity to find funds thanks in particular to CARDANO.

What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

No risk for the moment seems to prevent us from carrying out our project.

Please provide a detailed plan, including timeline and key milestones for delivering your proposal.

  • Design of the data structure (database): 32 days
  • API architecture design: 28 days
  • Implementation of user interfaces: 42 days
  • Backend integration with frontend: 36 days
  • Deployment of the solution: 20 days
  • Functionality test: 30 days

Please provide a detailed budget breakdown.

  • Design of the data structure (database): $2000$
  • Design of the API architecture: 1500$
  • Implementation of user interfaces: 4000$
  • Backend integration with frontend: 3500$
  • Deployment of the solution on an online server: $1500
  • Popularization of the platform via social media by sponsored advertisements (for one year): 1000$

Please provide details of the people who will work on the project.

If you are funded, will you return to Catalyst in a later round for further funding? Please explain why / why not.

If it happens that we are funded, we will return to Catalyst in a later round for further funding because these opportunities greatly allow us to solve many of the problems of our different communities, and it is also an opportunity to participate in the beginning of a new era, that of the popularization of blockchain technologies.

Please describe what you will measure to track your project's progress, and how will you measure these?

The progress of our project will be measured by the tasks carried out in relation to the different stages and by taking into account the deadline that we will set.

What does success for this project look like?

The success of our project will have a much greater impact on the students who will be able to easily materialize their ideas and projects by easily finding engineers and easily finding the funds necessary for the realization of their projects.

It will also impact the CARDANO ecosystem in the sense that it will welcome a large part of the student youth from all over the world into its community.

Please provide information on whether this proposal is a continuation of a previously funded project in Catalyst or an entirely new one.

This proposal is an entirely new project
