Structured Questionnaire for CAs

Build a tool to be used by CAs in their assessment process. By structuring the questionnaire based on the CA guide, it becomes very easy for any Community Advisor (CA) to clearly understand whether the proposer has provided the necessary information for his proposal to be Excellent or Good or needs to be filtered out.

Since another integral role of the CA is to provide useful feedback and advice for the proposer to improve his proposal for future funding rounds, the tool also helps him identify what is lacking and what information would be useful to provide as feedback

The structured questionnaire covers all areas of the CA guide in detail and breaks down what makes an Excellent proposal. What points are to be covered, and what areas must be detailed. I have used this in Fund 6 and Fund 7. It reduced the time spent on each proposal significantly and helped me to earn most ratings as Excellent or Good.

Inability to properly educate the CAs on the value of using this tool. Many CAs may not be willing to use the discipline and structure provided by this tool. Unwillingness to learn and try new things.

Having all CAs use this tool to improve their ease of assessment, reduce time taken to assess a proposal, and increase in their level of Good and Excellent proposal by use of this tool.

Ability to educate VCAs that this tool is useful and must be valued and given high scores , as it makes both the CA, VCA and Proposers life much easier to understand, assess and improve the proposal.

Have proposers demand that CAs and VCAs take the tool seriously and value it as it should be valued.

This is a new proposal
