How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

A well informed user-base on Cardano is less likely to be able to judge projects on their own, making them less susceptible to scammers. People that avoid scams are less likely to leave the ecosystem.

The problem is education for average people. Someone once told me that the A students aren't the best teachers because they understand things the easiest. It's the C students who make the best teachers once they understand something because they know the difficult points of understanding that most people have.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

By tracking YouTube, Twitter and Vimeo metrics, mainly the number of views, shares and downloads.

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

This would mainly be through social media. Making relationships with project leads to research, collaborate, and to help with education works in their favor and incentivizes them to share it via their reach.

There will also be a dedicated YouTube and Twitter Account made for this.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

I've been in the Cardano space since early 2021, and learning the ecosystem from NFTs to DeFi came slowly to me, but I learned it nonetheless. I also degen in the space with a group of friends and we constantly explain things to other people and understand where people get trapped in understanding things like DEX's and whatnot. In crypto, there's usually a flavor of the month asset, and with limited education out there, people tend to just gravitate to the herd because that's where they can learn. With a good library of videos that explain bigger concepts of what's out there, it can help people also think and invest independently in the space.

Regarding my filmmaking career, I've been a filmmaker for over 20 years and have working in the commercial realm for over 15 years in NYC, where I've made corporate and advertising videos for many fortune 500 videos. I've run my own production company for seven years now and have won several awards for my work. I also have the experience to easily execute on these, it just takes time and some money for online video resources, which is why I'm going for Catalyst funding.

What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

To have a more informed Cardano user base, and to be able to inform them in as little time as possible. Most of Cardano happens on Twitter, so Twitter engagement and growth will be a great measure of success.

Please provide a detailed breakdown of your project’s milestones and each of the main tasks or activities to reach the milestone plus the expected timeline for the delivery.

The milestones will be the completion of each video and/or series. As these are made, I will show these to as many people as I can to get feedback on the how people are able to digest the information.

1st Milestone: Cardano Fundamentals

2nd Milestone: Cardano DeFi

3rd Milestone: Cardano NFTs

I can start with basic rundowns of each, and add more detailed videos as needed. I plan to get at least two videos a month. If they're short, I can do more, but some might be long, in which case it can be two. I'm trying to underpromise here. I might also get out videos that the public needs right away.

Having a production company, I have most of the physical infrastructure in place, and almost all of the Adobe Plugins, sound effect libraries, and music libraries needed.

Hardware (for the year)

• Adobe Subscription: $660/year (~2300ADA)

• Vimeo Subscription: $199/year (~700ADA)

• Twitter Account Blue (to help with reach): $96/year (~330ADA)

• 2 Dedicated High Speed Hard Drive (one for backup): $300 (~1040ADA)

The bigger expense issue is time to research, write, record audio, do motion graphics, and edit. This can be almost a full-time job, and while I do video and photo work with my company, I plan to dedicate 20 hours a week to doing this to get about 1-2 videos or series a month (this is a conservative estimate)

Living in a small town in the US, I need about $12K to cover all my living expenses, which comes out to about $2k/month, or ~41.5K ADA/year or ~6.9K ADA/month

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

If you think about the amount of time people in the space spend time explaining certain things over and over again to people especially for projects, countless hours get wasted. To have a library of videos that just get straight to the point and aren't long livestreams, which has the highest likelihood of someone sitting through and watching, saves untold hours throughout the entire ecosystem.

The intent is to have a resource that anyone in the ecosystem can just send to someone to answer a question.

Those hours can even help non-blockchain developers get into the space by understanding the larger picture of how things work.

Giving people the knowledge to reduce being scammed saves countless amounts of money that stays in the ecosystem.
