Solution

We want to create a ready made customizable solution for a specific NFT industry (music, real estate, gaming, bonds or collection-specific marketplace) where creators can better target its audience.

A sample of a business running on our solution

Problem

Cardano lacks the diversity of marketplaces specializing in specific areas and real-world utility. Creators and users can’t connect well because marketplaces can’t target their audience.

Shopify/Wix style NFT marketplace running on Cardano. Ready-made customizable NFT marketplace for collection creators, specific niche industry or real world utility businesses.

Please describe your proposed solution.

Currently the NFT industry on Cardano is highly randomized and on almost all marketplaces you find gaming, utility, defi and other NFTs all mixed together.

This solution also caters for (not only!) collection creators who want to run their own marketplace on their website instead of linking to an external marketplace.

Real world utility businesses like real estate, sport clubs, fan clubs or others are facing tech-demanding barriers of entry.

Both users and creators need to connect in a better way so that users can discover projects they actually care about so that creators’ presentations can find their audience more straightforwardly.

Example of a potential business integration to this project.

How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

We plan to create a platform for both developers to build on and non-developers to start their NFT trading business on hosting service where existing Cardano products can be integrated.

Customizable front-end and no-code platform will allow quick onboarding of new businesses and more competitive and better targeted platforms for specific niche NFT areas. Cardano can become a go-to blockchain to onboard new business with ease once the barriers of entry are lowered down.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

Quantitative:

  • Number of businesses running on this solution
  • Combined user traffic
  • Trading volume
  • Number of products integrated into the modules

Qualitative:

  • User experience
  • System stability

In the short term we remove the barriers of entry to start doing business on Cardano and allow businesses to better target their audience.

In the long term we help connect Cardano businesses together so that users can get exposure to the best products on Cardano from each area tailored marketplace. The better integration the better traffic sharing and therefore more organic growth of all Cardano businesses.

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

We plan to share the outputs to the businesses and initiate a cooperation with teams building on our solution so that all parties can share the knowledge, new features and upgrades. This solution will speed up new features building after the launch of this project and make building on Cardano faster. Project will be public on github and will accept community PRs.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

We are fully transparent with our business entity based in Prague, Czech Republic and we are building with guidance and cooperation with strong entities in Cardano such as Vacuum Labs (Nufi, Wingriders) and Cardanians. Knowledge and expertise sharing with companies who already launched and run successful projects gives us the necessary perspective to see how and what to build in a specific time-frame.

What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

Goal 1:

  • Create a template for developers to build on.

Goal 2:

  • Create a hosting service marketplace for regular users (businesses) without development capacities.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

Hourly rates represent average remuneration for its respective positions even though our actual costs are higher. For 295k ADA we can run a ready made marketplace like Shopify or Wix known in Web2.0 space so new businesses can save all the costs for building their marketplace and just start promoting their brands and products. This product will help all non-crypto users start their journey effortlessly and primarily on Cardano before any other blockchain so we believe the value Cardano gets back will be high and will more than make up for the initial costs.
