Service Marketplace for Japan, VN

Please describe your proposed solution.

In Fund 8, we proposed the establishment of a service marketplace, a place to connect people with good skills and time to support Proposer and inexperienced PAs in performing their duties and roles in Catalyst.

Thanks to funding from Catalyst Fund 8, Service Marketplace has been set up in the first stage with the necessary basic features of a platform connecting service providers and service users. The brand name of this Catalyst-sponsored Service Marketplace is Proskills39.

Website: <https://proskills39.com/>

Currently, Service Marketplace Proskills39 is set up with English as the main language so that proposers and PAs in English-fluent countries can immediately use it.

In this proposal, we seek funding to expand the market of Proskill39 Service Marketplace to Japan and Vietnam.

For Japan and Vietnam market, we provide the below services

Services for Proposer

 • Proposal writing service in English, Japanese…
 • Service of translating challenges, and announcements from Catalyst.
 • Translation service of sample proposals (funded in previous funds)
 • Consulting service on how to write a standard proposal.
 • Service of creating videos to introduce the project to the Community.

Services for PA

 • Proposal translation service into the local language
 • Translation service of reviews into English.
 • PA skill training service
 • Service to review PA assessments before submitting to Catalyst.

Logistics services for the funded project

 • Website design service
 • Programming service
 • Smart contract service
 • Financial advisor service
 • Community building service
 • Project marketing service

Other services

 • Catalyst-related knowledge training service
 • Cardano blockchain knowledge training service
 • Blockchain knowledge training service
 • Translation service on request.

We will carry out Marketing campaigns (Facebook ads, seminars…) to attract Japanese and Vietnamese experts to post services and skills that can support Proposer, PA, in the Japanese community, in Vietnam.

At the same time, we also promote the platform to the Japanese and Vietnamese Proposer, PA communities through Catalyst, Cardano's social channels, Facebook groups, and Telegram groups.

Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.

This proposal helps to connect skilled people with proponents, unskilled and experienced PAs in the Japanese and Vietnamese communities.

This helps to improve the quality of the Proposal, and the evaluation quality of the PA in the Japanese and Vietnamese communities.

New members who want to become Proposer, PA will also be more willing to participate by using the support service from Proposer, PA, and well-skilled experts on ProSkills39 Service Marketplace. As a result, the number of new Proposers and PAs from Japan and Vietnam has increased.

Proposing to attract more experts besides Cardano and Catalyst to become an abundant reserve of human resources, ready to support Proposers and PAs to perform their roles well in Catalyst.

Proposal to improve the success rate of funded projects thanks to the support of expert teams on ProSkills39 Service Marketplace.

What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

Risk 1

It may be difficult to manage the quality of the service that the provider provides in the beginning.

Risk mitigation

However, we will apply reputation scoring, and service quality scores for customers (proposer, PA…) to evaluate after using the service. Suppliers who are underestimated (1 star, 2 stars) will be reminded, and must-have solutions to improve their service quality. If the rating continues to be low, Marketplace will restrict the display of that provider's services.

We will create policies and regulations on service provision and customer complaint handling to ensure good quality.

Risk 2

Payment methods for professionals and service providers can be difficult due to the law where they live.

Risk mitigation

We use the Paypal payment gateway for transactions. For those countries that do not use the Paypal payment gateway, we will use ADA to pay, or in the future, when we have our token, we will use it to pay service providers around the world.

Risk 3:

With the greatly ADA fluctuation, the stable value of ADA may be subject to sharp slippage due to market volatility that could lead to a lack of funding when carrying out the actual expense payment.

Risk mitigation

Create a reserve fund for ADA value fluctuation. At the same time, convert ADA at the time of receiving into stablecoin or USD to mitigate the risk of value fluctuations.

Please provide a detailed plan, including timeline and key milestones for delivering your proposal.

We will translate Service Marketplace and translate 100 services into Japanese and Vietnamese, and at the same time implement a Marketing strategy to attract users from the Japanese and Vietnamese communities.

After we do the above, every month we will conduct an evaluation and come up with an improvement plan for better performance in the following month. We believe that with the Plan-do-check-act cycle (PDCA), the marketing effectiveness will be high and the desired goals will be achieved.

We plan to deploy in 6 months. The specific plan is below.

The first month

 • Translate basic content on Service Marketplace into Japanese
 • Translate the content of 30 services into Japanese
 • Implement 3 marketing campaigns Facebook, Telegram, Youtube
 • Evaluation and improve

 • Translate the content of 40 services into Japanese
 • Implement 3 marketing campaigns Facebook, Telegram, Youtube
 • Evaluation and improve

Third month
