Please describe your proposed solution.

Currently Rensa Games is already fully operational for other blockchains and they are part of the FluxusNetwork for some time. We want to collaborate with them to extend their smart contract to offer their services to all Cardano (game) developers aswell.

How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

It fully supports the (game) developers and offers them multiple new avenues to increase their stability to develop their products and not just meet new competent students and juniors for their teams but the additional funding whenever their assets are utilized in any capacity.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

The first step is that you measure of the changed smart contract is functional. The second clear measurement is if we can see an influx of assets from cardano developers that can already show that the demand for options liek this are in high demand.

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

Since the proposal is set to be resolved in three months, we plan to report on completion of the smart contract and when we can put game assets on their game jam/ marketplace. This will lead to one monthly report and then have a larger close out report to inform the community project about the new and exciting opportunities for them.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

Rensa Game already developed the smart contract themselves which is working flawlessly. They are the best to enhance the contract to include Cardano.

What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

The main goal is to complete the smart contract extention.

Rensa games will complete the extention for covering the costs of 19.000€. It is equivalent to 180 hours of smart contract development for their end, including the front and backend integration and testing1 of it.

A smart contract extention will be produced that allows Cardano game developers can place their assets (visual/ auditive) and the smart contract sends the developers money whenever someone is utilizing the asset (for example in a game jam)

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

It is important that we fund those small endeavours that support our new and upcoming projects. We indentified a small and cheap solution for a problem that is holding back some really productive gaming developers and instead of pumping more funds into them we want to create the infrastructure for them to feed themselves. This baseline has its validity in the fact that we as ecosystem fund more and more small projects. Let's support them in generating their own income without pumping out NFT sets one after another.
