We will be working with ambassadors from East Asia to help onboard new talent to Cardano onto our Music Marketplace: SoundRig
Our ambassador to Indonesia - Humania - Have been fighting for change in the music industry since 1996, and member Eq is head of PR for AMPLI (Indonesian Musicians & Songwriter Aliance). They will be launching their project on Cardano through our upcoming Music NFT Marketplace. We will be working closely with them to ensure all the musicians launch successfully and attract more local musicians to join Cardano through the lens of music.
Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.
Growing Cardano's awareness through our ambassadors in East Asia will allow independent musicians to flourish on Cardano while also onboarding their fan bases from the respective countries to grow the Cardano community as a whole.
What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?
Risks: Not getting funding to allow us to expand our Dev team and accelerate our development speed.
The solutions we have for solving this potential hurdle are:
- Launch Primary sales to get small amount of working funds from fees
- Having self funded enough to get the marketplace developed will allow for secondary sales and an addition revenue stream
- Potentially offering paid promotional services (ex: Boosted artist will appear higher up in the category list or search result queue)
Risk: Difficulty attracting musicians and their fans
The solutions we have for solving this potential hurdle are:
- Recruit prominent figures in the music community with blockchain knowledge to onboard the local community
- Leading by example, Humania is launching their first Cardano music NFT project with our marketplace to show that web3 is a viable option to the many musicians they are in contact with.
- Make the user experience for customers new to crypto as familiar as possible to existing web2 streaming services and tackle the main barriers to entry to crypto for new users.
Risk: Difficulty growing a community/customer base
The solutions we have for solving this potential hurdle are:
- Onboarding musicians from Web2 with existing fan bases to help grow a new consumer base in Web3
- Strategic partnerships with other projects to increase brand awareness as well as increase awareness of Web3 music on Cardano
- Working with the musicians on Cardano to help unify their fans on our platform to encourage organic growth
