Why 316 million gamers?
While there is an information gap in the gaming ecosystem in general, the Latin American sector is even more neglected.
Here are some interesting facts:
- The Latin America gaming market is approximately $2.7b and is estimated to grow 10% YoY through 2028 (to $4.3b)
- In 2022, there were ~316m gamers in Latin America (growing 5% YoY).
- Game content discovery in Latin America has a distinct, influencer-led culture. Roughly one in three internet users follows an influencer (Future) and these influencers distinctly influence how games are discovered. 39% of gamers say that they discover games through online video channels.
In recent months the Cardano gaming ecosystem has grown quite a lot, there are projects like Cornucopias, House of Titans, Mocossi Planet, among others that have proven to have a great community.
As a fan of video games and a member of the Cardano community, I would like to find more information and content related to gaming.
The idea is as follows, once a week for 12 months, I will cover a gaming project, that includes :
1) Interview the founder or part of the core team of the project to understand the history and vision of the project.
2) Conduct a twitter space with this person as a guest and interact more with the community.
3) Create an article to covert this project in terms of how it uses cardano's blockchain
technology and share insigths from the podcast and twitter space done previously.
4) Create a tutorial on how to interact with the game, tokenomics, strategy, etc.
5) Make a gameplay video about the game in question.
as you can see all this meets a wide range of possibilities for different audiences and different interests, all this with the aim of spreading these projects not only with the cardano community but also attract new players, investors.
