Solution

I will create content (podcast, twitter space, tutorial, article, gameplay) for up to 50 Cardano gaming projects , a total of 250 pieces of Cardano gaming content.

Problem

The lack of gaming content can make it difficult for users to discover relevant and high-quality projects. This projects struggle to attract new users due to the lack of marketing channels.

Onboarding 316 Million Gamers to Cardano

Please describe your proposed solution.

Why 316 million gamers?

While there is an information gap in the gaming ecosystem in general, the Latin American sector is even more neglected.

Here are some interesting facts:

 • The Latin America gaming market is approximately $2.7b and is estimated to grow 10% YoY through 2028 (to $4.3b)
 • In 2022, there were ~316m gamers in Latin America (growing 5% YoY).
 • Game content discovery in Latin America has a distinct, influencer-led culture. Roughly one in three internet users follows an influencer (Future) and these influencers distinctly influence how games are discovered. 39% of gamers say that they discover games through online video channels.

In recent months the Cardano gaming ecosystem has grown quite a lot, there are projects like Cornucopias, House of Titans, Mocossi Planet, among others that have proven to have a great community.

As a fan of video games and a member of the Cardano community, I would like to find more information and content related to gaming.

The idea is as follows, once a week for 12 months, I will cover a gaming project, that includes :

1) Interview the founder or part of the core team of the project to understand the history and vision of the project.

2) Conduct a twitter space with this person as a guest and interact more with the community.

3) Create an article to covert this project in terms of how it uses cardano's blockchain

technology and share insigths from the podcast and twitter space done previously.

4) Create a tutorial on how to interact with the game, tokenomics, strategy, etc.

5) Make a gameplay video about the game in question.

as you can see all this meets a wide range of possibilities for different audiences and different interests, all this with the aim of spreading these projects not only with the cardano community but also attract new players, investors.

Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community.

As the name of the proposal says, the long term vision is the onboarding of gamers in Latam.

So to measure the success of the proposal we have to talk about the number of users onboarded to these gaming projects in Cardano.

 • The podcasts will be recorded and published on Youtube, Twich and Spotify platforms.

 • The twitter espace will logically be recorded on the Twitter platform, on the following account @CardanoGamingLA.

 • The articles and tutorials will be published on our website (domain to be defined).

 • The gameplay will be uploaded on Youtube and Twich platform.

That said, I will measure the impact of the project firstly by the number of views, comments, subscriptions, users connected to the space, followers on the twitter account, views of the articles and comments.

This measure is quantitative and although it doesn't say much, it gives us an overview of whether there was interest from the audience, I will also ask the gaming projects that within their discord make a channel for Latam users if they don't have one and be able to measure if those channels grow in users as well.

At the end of the project I will create an article with all the insights of the project, lessons learned, challenges, etc. In addition to the article I will publish a video and make a final Twitter space AMA.

The success of the project adds value to the cardano community and the ecosystem by attracting new users to the network, more transactions and investment from outside the ecosystem.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

I'm going to talk a little bit about who I am, I'm originally from Mexico, I'm in Cardano for a little more than two years, I got funding in project catalyst fund7 with the proposal called "Support small farmers in Latam".

I was able to successfully delivered and completet the proposal, also in project catalysat I have participated as a reviewer in fund 8, 9 and in the last fund as a level 1 reviewer with a total of 80 proposals reviewed.

As a member of theLatam Cardano Community, I have participated in educational content with Universities in Mexico.

 • I´m leading in Mexico the proposal funded in fund10 "Universities Onboarding to Cardano" from Latam Community.

 • I participated in the Cardano summit in mexico 2022.

 • Representing Cardano Latam Community in "Cardano Days" , Guadalajara , Mexico.

This shows my involvement in the ecosystem in the previous two years, now thanks to participate in the community I have met people involved in gaming projects in Cardano, to name a few: Virtua, Cornucopias, House of Titans, Cardano Gaming Community and thanks also to my participation doing onboarding in Universities and meetups in Mexico, I consider myself with the ability to do onboarding to gamers in Latam that many of them are students of these Universities.

I was creating gaming content in my twitter profile ( @Crisro0787) for a month, just after delivering the final report of the proposal in fund7, I stopped doing it because I participated in organizing two CIP-1694 workshops in Mexico, in the Pan-latam workshop in Uruguay and participating in the final workshop in Edinburgh.

What are the key milestones you need to achieve in order to complete your project successfully?

The proposal has to cover 50 gaming projects on Cardano, I have decided to divide the project into 4 milestones of 3 months each.

 • 13 twitter spaces.
 • 13 articles with an overview of the projects.
 • 13 tutorials.
 • 13 gameplays.

Acceptance criteria: Links to the recordings and videos in high quality, links to the articles and tutorials, copies of the articles and written quarterly report.

>Milestone 2:

June 24- September 24

Description: cover 13 projects.

 • 13 interviews in podcast format.

>Milestone 3:

September 24- December 24

Description: cover 12 projects.

Outputs:

 • 12 interviews in podcast format.

 • 12 twitter spaces.

 • 12 articles with an overview of the projects.

 • 12 tutorials.

 • 12 gameplays.

 • Acceptance criteria: Links to the recordings and videos in high quality, links to the articles and tutorials, copies of the articles and written quarterly report.

>Milestone 4:

December 24- March 25

Description: cover 12 projects.

Outputs:

 • 12 interviews in podcast format.
 • 12 twitter spaces.
 • 12 articles with an overview of the projects.
 • 12 tutorials.
 • 12 gameplays.

>Final Milestone:

At the end of the project I will create an article with all the insights of the project, lessons learned, challenges, etc. In addition to the article I will publish a video and make a final Twitter space AMA.

Outputs: Written article in our website, Video Report, final Twitter space AMA.

Acceptance criteria: Links to the video report and twitter space record, link to the article, copie of the article and final written report.

Who is in the project team and what are their roles?

Cristian Jair Rojas Velez- @Crisro077

 • I will plan and write the interviews.
 • Record the interview with the guest.
 • Host the Twitter space.
 • Record the game play.
 • Write the articles.

I will need a videdo editor for the podcast and gameplay, if someone is interesting could reach me by my twitter account.

Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources.

I decided to make a budget for each gaming project and then multiply this budget by 50.

I will cover the creation and design of the website, hosting, final reports, final video production and recording equipment.

 • Host of the interview in podcast format: 150 usd
 • Twitter space host: 100 usd
 • Write 2 Articles : 350 usd
 • Gameplay: 100 usd

Video edition: 150 usd

Adds: 50 usd

Total: 900 usd x 50 = 45,000 usd

To calculate the ADA price to be taken for the budget and its monthly volatility, I used the following formulas:

ADA price = the average price over the last 365 days = 0.32 USD

Monthly volatility = The standard deviation of that same sample (0.3137) multiplied by the square root of 30 (5.477) = 0.17 = 17%.

Then the required ADA will be =( 45,000 USD/0.32 USD ) * 1.17 = 164,500 ADA

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

I was doing research especially on the Fiverr platform, and I think the costs are more than justified, I leave it to the reviewer at their discretion and I appreciate any feedback.

 • Host of the interview in podcast format: 150 usd : source
 • Twitter space host: 100 usd source
 • Write 2 Articles : 350 usd source
 • Gameplay: 100 usd
