Problem

In Turkey, Cardano is not strong and not well-known. People have little to no knowledge about what it promises, how to easily access those promises, how being part of this ecosystem can empower individuals, or the opportunities and conveniences it offers. I believe this is a significant problem.

When you seek information about Cardano in Turkey, all the options that come up are investment advice. There is a lack of Turkish content regarding information about the Cardano protocol, developments, DeFi projects, newly launched projects, and similar topics.

Currently, there is only one source that provides written Cardano 101 information: <https://cardanoturkiye.org/>. However, this resource only covers the most basic Cardano topics with seven articles. It is not possible to find quality Turkish video content on platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, or Facebook.

Why am I approaching the solution in this way?

Having worked as a journalist for over 20 years and gained significant experience in the field, including the past 12 years as a news anchor with effective communication skills, I feel compelled to talk about Cardano to the millions of people in Turkey who have become victims of a collapsed traditional financial system due to political disinformation and administrative mistakes.

Solution

My goal is to create news videos that compiles the latest innovations in the Cardano ecosystem with a focus on individuals how it can benefit them.

I believe that by preparing a newsletter with videos, visuals, and enriched content in a serious news bulletin format, I can establish a healthy bridge. This bulletin will present the most important developments and innovations of each week with the same sincerity found in television news bulletins and digital video sharing platforms.

However, this impact is not currently reflected in price movements. In the past 24 hours, Cardano has only increased by 6.24% to reach a price of $0.2933.

Around the middle of the segment, I would like to briefly mention any community within the ecosystem, explaining their goals and why they are involved in Cardano.

How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

According to several institutions, Turkey is considered one of the leading countries in cryptocurrency usage.

However, Cardano is not even in the top 20 on Paribu, which is one of Turkey's largest centralized exchanges: <https://www.paribu.com/markets>. This is daily data, but unless there is significant Cardano news, we can be sure that Cardano is nowhere near the top 20, falling behind soccer team coins like FC Valencia on some days.

These data indicate that Cardano is not capturing its share of the potential in a country with a population of 80 million.

The content I will deliver through news will make the Cardano ecosystem much more well-known in Turkey. The content I create, tailored to the Turkish people who predominantly learn through video content (80% according to statistics), will strengthen Cardano's position in Turkey. People who watch the content will also share it as a reference within their circles.

As a result, each content sharing will lead to the opening of new Cardano wallets, Turks will be informed about the innovations in Cardano, and the user base in Turkey will increase.

Post-Project

Upon the success of this project application, the publishing platform will continue to serve in the future, expanding its coverage with new content and projects.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

Success Metrics

The main indicators of the project's success are the viewership rate, subscriber count, and engagement metrics (retweets, shares) of the content. These numbers directly reflect the reach of the content. A portion of these metrics will translate into new wallets in Cardano and new users in projects.

Our expectation is to reach 10,000 views per video, 50,000 monthly viewers, and a total of 200,000 views for the project as a whole. These are the numbers we aim to achieve during the duration of this project. In the long term, as the content is shared by viewers, these numbers will increase exponentially with each video. The impact on Cardano will be seen in the increase of Cardano accounts and users of projects developed on Cardano in Turkey, as well as an increase in the number of projects developed on Cardano from Turkey.

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

I will publish the 16 videos on YouTube every week and simultaneously share them on social media platforms such as Reddit r/turkey, Discord, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, etc.

To ensure that the content reaches a larger audience, I will utilize my personal network to reach out to individuals with a substantial following and establish connections with them. This way, from the very beginning, we can reach a wide audience through their networks.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

The methods of preparing content are very similar to what we do when creating television news bulletins, and so I have all the capabilities needed to deliver the project.

📌 Voicing and editing the perfore (voice-over) for the VTR.

📌 Preparing attention-grabbing KJs (Key Jots) that appear at the bottom of the screen when the news is broadcasted. (Some channels use two lines or consecutive spots in one line, in which case they should be numbered accordingly. KJ can also be referred to as "Spot" or "Flash.")

All of these stages are part of the chronological path and method we follow in journalism. And I will apply all of these stages to the content I will be preparing. In fact, I will provide comments on some impactful news as well. While these methods may be challenging for many people, for someone like me who has been a journalist in a dynamic country like Turkey for 20 years and has been working in television news reporting and anchoring for a long time, they are routine tasks that can be done during regular working hours.

What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

I haven't come across any productive Turkish resources which

• Informs people about innovations in DeFi projects.
• Facilitates people in keeping track of developments in the ecosystem.
• Explains the working principles of the system and the communities in the ecosystem.
• Makes it easier for anyone who wants to be a part of this ecosystem to integrate into the system.

My goal is to make all the unknown aspects of Cardano, including its philosophy, working mentality, reliability stages, focus on benefits, democratic structure, etc., understandable and accessible through Turkish content.

In this way, I aim to ensure that nobody faces the difficulties I encountered at the beginning and to help Cardano gain significant traction and reach a considerable number of wallets in Turkey.

In line with these goals, at the end of the 4-month period:

• Create at least 16 video contents
• Reach at least 200,000 people
• Contribute to the formation of new and effective communities
• Ignite a spark for Cardano in Turkey that becomes widely recognized

Weekly Activities:

• Preparation: Every evening, the Cardano ecosystem will be monitored. Potential news, developments, or noteworthy topics worth mentioning will be filtered for the content.
• Scripts for announcements and narrations will be written.
• Relevant visuals will be gathered and prepared for use in the content.
• After preparing the video content, the shooting of announcements will take place.
• Editing will be done, including the assembly of opening sequences or introductions if available, according to the relevant storyline.
• (After the 2nd segment) Striking segments from the previous week's video will be cut into short videos and uploaded to social media platforms such as YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok to circulate.

The desired outcome I aim for is to have a Turkish channel that speaks the language of an economically and socially democratic country, which can easily be understood by those who are hungry for it. A "Cardano Türkiye Channel" with quality news content.

The project outputs will be a total of 16 Cardano bulletins, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels that will be prepared and shared.

The results at each milestone of the project are to reach more Turkish viewers with news about Cardano and to increase the interest of viewers in Cardano.

The outcome of all these efforts:

• Turks will have the opportunity to easily follow the latest developments in the Cardano ecosystem.
• Users will learn about Cardano's technological innovations and related news.
• Users' trust will increase with news content from reliable sources.
• There will be exchanges of ideas and discussions about projects among users through social networks.
• New projects will emerge within the community and contribute to the ecosystem.

Many people create content and share it with their own audiences. What sets me apart is that I am a professional in this field. Like many people in Turkey, I have also been affected by the traditional financial system. When working as a journalist, I always tried to reflect the rhythm of life in the news. In a way, it represents my own rebellion. I adapt my journalistic skills to the behavioral model of this ecosystem. With the guidance of Cem Karaca and Çağkan Acarbay, I aim to be part of this ecosystem and contribute to the Turkish potential who want to be involved in Cardano, as well as benefiting Cardano and myself, in order to be a part of this mission of providing benefits and freedom.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

With less than $6,000, Cardano is gaining a significant broadcasting platform in Turkey, the 12th largest cryptocurrency market in the world. In a country where annual inflation has reached 100% in the past three years and where 60% of the working population earns minimum wage (435.61 USD), this platform will introduce over 80 million people to another economic world and show them how they can exist in that world.
