Verification of Age and Identity is common-place where access to events, travel and even places of work.
Enabling NFT tickets is one thing, but often this needs some kind of Identity solution attached to allow the full scope of real-world use cases for NFT tickets and passes.
<u>NFTPass DID Integration:</u>
As part of the NFTPass project we are going to integrate with Atala Prism, IOG's Digital Identity Solution, to enable the extended use cases of NFT Passes & Tickets, beyond simple event passes and enhanced user experience.
The ability to share only select and necessary data is an important part of self-sovereign identity and data sharing.
NFTPass will allow for only appropriate data sharing as proof for criteria without exposing the full amount of personal data exposed in the case of ID Cards, Passports & Driver's Licenses.
This will be implemented on both the Scan and Pass apps being developed by NFTPass and will enable Zero Knowledge proof of identity for only necessary information when using NFT tickets and passes.
<u>Why Is This Important?</u>
People don't need to expose all of their personal information in order to go to a bar, or fly, or access certain areas of an event, instead they will be able to share only necessary information cryptographically, so intermediaries have no way of taking, copying or manipulating personal information.
This will help prevent identity fraud and keep personal information safe and in the hands of the owner, and not exposed to the world.
<u>Marketing The Solution:</u>
We will market our solution through lead generation at business events, promotional material and setting up workshops for DID & NFT Education at business hubs in London.
We will approach businesses through local industry connections and create exposure through marketing at events and online.
It will help enable adoption of Self-Sovereign DIDs by aligning it with our patented ticketing solution, all through simple cryptography to keep personal information usable, when necessary, but secure
The main challenge we face is adopting our solution in the real world, building the solution is simple so there will be a big focus on marketing the solution once it has been built, to help bring adoption through use case.
