Solution

To create a reliable, transparent, and intelligent platform for connecting Farmers and consumers without compromising the quality and value of the Agri-Products with clarity for farming&supply chain.

Problem

Farmers of Agri products are exploited by the middleman in regard to the value of the products. It’s mainly due to unavailability of a reliable medium which can connect Farmers and Consumers directly.

Naturopura A natural Farming Market Place and Assistance

Please describe your proposed solution.

The solution which we propose is an integrated web and mobile app platform powered by a Dynamic agro Based intermediary platform Model with a digitalized networking and linking of all the stakeholders of the agriculture-based supply chain under one platform to be called Naturopura.

Naturopura encompasses multiple modules with a wide range of functionalities such as an E-commerce retail marketplace, an E-Trade module for bulk trading of produce, and an E-service module for consultancy & technological intervention-based.

Starting from use of IOT from the field to use of AI, Data Science for tracking during supply chain Naturopura, will be build over a reliable and robust blockchain. The technical team decided to use Cardano as blockchain partner. In the github we have started the development of different modules. The tech team also identified around 67 contracts to be used in various phases of the project.

How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

The objective of this proposal is to create an all-in-one unified marketplace-based platform, which shall create a dynamic network among all the stakeholders in Naturopura.

By providing a single source of data for a farm, blockchain would minimize the strain of record keeping and maintaining multiple record systems. It ultimately saves time and energy in the agriculture value chain. It is very important to realize that the blockchain alone can’t make growers more money, but it can provide the technology infrastructure for things like automation, digitization, and tracking, that could drive the farmers towards modern agriculture.

What for Farmers?

  1. To facilitate diversified sales channels for effective selling of their produce.
  2. To facilitate fair compensation for their produce.
  3. To facilitate better planning of logistics.
  4. To facilitate farmers to explore the domain of backward and forward integration.
  5. To facilitate digitalized procurement of better feed, equipment, and other necessary items at a lower price with the elimination of any middleman.
  6. To provide direct digital linkage and network to Processing Industries, Cold Chains, Traders & Wholesalers.
  7. To facilitate digital buying and selling of Agri -based inputs & outputs for them in a single unified platform.

What for Agricultural Products, Distributors, Wholesalers & Retailers?

  1. To facilitate direct procurement of produce from the farmers.
  2. To facilitate a reduction in logistics costs by streamlining the supply chain.
  3. To facilitate a unified platform to access a diverse range of products.
  4. To facilitate a platform to sell their products on a larger scale.
  5. To facilitate a market analysis model, this will assist them in getting the right price for their produce by analyzing the demand and supply in the market.
  6. To facilitate an efficient hyperlocal delivery service to retailers for their e-commerce.

What for Consumers?

  1. To facilitate a platform to buy a large variety of Agriculture products online.
  2. To facilitate an online marketplace, that will reduce the cost of pro production cause of the competition between online sellers.
  3. To facilitate a review-based system that will help them in choosing the right sellers for their produce.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

• Naturopura is an indigenous initiative and innovation of Quotus Software Solutions to address various issues and problems faced in the Agriculture sector in India. Starting from Farmer suicide cause to an organized transparent non-aggregator based Marketplace for farmers and Consumers.

• Naturopura will act as a Distributed Autonomous Organization backed by Emerging Blockchain Technology.

• It will act as a transparent bridge between various govt agencies, farmers, and consumers without the interaction of a middleman.

• It will give access and aware the farmers of various govt policies. In the meantime, it will also manage subsidies and govt loans in Farmer’s portfolio.

• The system works along with the natural biodiversity of each farmed area, encouraging the complexity of living organisms—both plant and animal—that shape each particular ecosystem to thrive along with food plants.

• Natural farming is related to fertility farming, organic farming, and biodynamic agriculture will be given priority.

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

  1. Ideate - Done
  2. Prototype - 120 MD
  3. Product Development - 960 MD
  4. Unit Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing and Deployment - 120 MD
  5. Realtime Testing and Go Live - 30 MD

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

Narendra Das - Having more than 22 years of experience IT. A Software Architect, Developer having experience many technologies like Java Stack, Spring Stack, MERN Stack. He has self studied Haskell, Plutus. He managed the Cardano India Developpers comunity upskill program to Cardano. He is doing PPP in the 4th Iteration.

What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

• A hassle-free platform for the farmers and consumers of the Agri Market in India.

• A medium to Sell/ Buy products produced by the farmers.

• Farmers / Consumers post their requirements to purchase.

• With the help of technology, we can make the whole unorganized agricultural supply chain into a stable, transparent, autonomous, and trustworthy platform that shall act as a network for all the stakeholders such as Farmers, Cold Storage, Processors, Investors, Bankers, Insurance agencies, Exporters and after all the Consumers.

• This digital aggregation platform shall help the stakeholders in better dissemination of information on a real-time basis, sustainable use of resources, streamlining of trading procedures, diversification of products & Markets, simplified & safe trading partnerships, and better supply chain network.

Please provide a detailed breakdown of your project’s milestones and each of the main tasks or activities to reach the milestone plus the expected timeline for the delivery.
