The focus isn’t charli3 specific. We hope to educate Cardano community members and users of the challenges Charli3 and other competing solutions face.

Proposed Topics:

1. What is the oracle problem?
2. What ways can one solve the oracle problem?
3. is an Oracle solution necessary? What are the pros and cons of alternative solutions?
4. What does an oracle solution do and what does it not do?
5. The challenge of providing Cardano native token pairs (onchain data)
6. The challenge of providing off chain data
7. Economic challenges of decentralizing an oracle network
8. Beyond the technical and learning about the non technical challenges of providing data (a class on web2 data issues that prevail and are made more complex in web3)
9. Compliance and regulatory issues with data transmission
10. Review of the landscape across blockchain as a whole: who is doing what and why (from sub second finality solana oracles with L1 downtime, link with strong ties to banking, to tellor network with unique economic systems etc)

10 hours of masterclasses free and open to the public run by Robert Hever, Co founder of Charli3 and relevant authorities in the oracle solution space. TBD who the lecturers will be but hoping to bring in executives from oracle solutions on other chains whom we have warm relationships with already.

5-10 Explainer videos available for free public consumption detailing not just Charli3 specific solution, but highlighting the challenges of building an oracle or any data solution on Cardano.

3 hours of AMAs with authorities on the topics

Community members participating in DAOs for Cardano protocols can make informed decisions when voting on what their protocols decide to use when solving the data infrastructure problem.

Community members can better assess the legitimacy of claims made on X or by leadership teams about incidents that occur. They can ask more penetrating and relevant questions about what went wrong and why. This will lead to voting on or pressuring protocols to implement better systems.

Educated users can better identify FUD and marketing from legitimate discussions.

Leadership team members who are planning to build in-house solutions can better address the non technical challenges (which are significantly more complex than the technical ones).

Users who understand how a protocol implements their critical data infrastructure layer can better DYOR on Dapps to determine the risks of using them.

Students who come out of the masterclasses, AMAs, and review the explainers may come out with better ideas to build a novel innovative solution to the problem and do it on Cardano better than Charli3 or other teams.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

As a co founder of Charli3, I would be one of the best leaders to educate the community on the topics proposed. I’ll select a team of relevant authorities to support on the delivery of the material and get exciting guests for the AMA.

The Charli3 team has partnerships with multiple Cardano labs and can potentially bring on guest speakers.

Personally, I have 100s of hours teaching at the university level and 100s of hours leading workshops for c suite teams as management consultant. It won’t be hard to find passionate authorities to support in delivering the deliverables. It won’t be a charli3 specific knowledge base but we are sponsoring the project for the betterment of Cardano.

KPIs: The goal is to increase engagement by measuring and increasing attendance in the classes and AMAs… if we can increase attendance and take surveys afterwards we can measure the effectiveness of the sessions then improve on the next ones.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

A well educated community can use intersect to make Cardano significantly better for the future.

We intend to provide high quality content with authorities as guest lecturers. This masterclass package is supposed to be a very polished product that can be reviewed for free into the future so future Cardano users can use the material to onboard.

Avoiding poorly designed protocols with aggressive marketing teams will help users avoid losses.

Lastly, as we segue into intersect the community needs all the knowledge they can get to make informed decisions. This will lead to stronger more effective workgroups relating to oracles
