KONMA Chain : L2 ZK Roll up for ADA

Konma Chain is a layer 2 solution to primarily help projects and products to scale on the Cardano Ecosystem. As Konma plans to provide blockchain as a service in 15 different sectors. we are confident we ourselves will use up most of the resources on Cardano, hence a layer 2 sidechain to not only host and hold Konmas products and projects but also to help developers utilise the chain.

Konma will provide developer assistance during the development process for third party projects. Konma Chain an L2 solution utilizing ZK rollup using validity proof.

  • The sidechain will help layer 1 scale by piling up transactions together and pushing them to the main chain.
  • Relayers create rollups by aggregating transactions. They create a zero-knowledge, succinct non-interactive argument of knowledge (ZK-SNARK)
  • All updates can be acquired by simply following Konma on all social platforms and the project update will be added on the official Konma Labz website for the community's benefit.

The main challenge we forsee is during the auditing and deployment phase, we hope the community of developers comes together to solve this issue by partaking in bug bounty programmes.

Design:

During the design phase, the technical team from Konma Labz and Professors and researchers from Chennai Mathematical institute will sit together to vet out and design the entire process using research from peer-reviewed papers from IOG and EMURGO.

Development:

During the development phase, the developers from this institute and Developers from Konma labz will sit to develop the proposed and designed chain, this includes a scanner, a block explorer, wallet integration to shelly era wallets, a testnet , the mainnet, node specifications

Audit:

We hope to have IOG, EMURGO, Mlabs, Imagine.ai to audit the developed blockchain.

Deployment:

An ICO phase to help fund treasury and raise funds to increase all other avenues of Konma which will also benefit Cardano and it's community by a whole bunch

Post-deployment:

Once deployed we will start deploying all other dapps and smart-contracts konma has to cater to its 15 sectors.

  • As we transition from one phase to another, we will be in close talks with IOG, EMURGO and Cardano foundation to ensure we are in sync with the requirements for increasing Cardano Adoption widely.
  • We will open bridges to the mainchain to be completely interoperable, whilst also opening bridges between other chains.
  • Ultimately we would be able to release all outstanding projects on and future collaborations on this chain.
  • The code base will be opensource and provide space, support and guidance to all other projects willing to develop on the Cardano ecosystem

Successful deployment and wide adaption would be deemed success for this proposal.

This is an entirely new proposal we plan to seek funds two more times to finish this to our expectations.
