Our proposed solution is to develop a targeted educational campaign in Asia, focusing on increasing awareness and understanding of the Cardano ecosystem. This will involve a combination of localized content, and in-person workshops that cater to the diverse languages and cultures of the region. By providing accessible resources and hands-on experiences, we aim to onboard new users, developers, and enterprises to Cardano. The goal is to foster ecosystem growth in Asia, positioning Cardano as a key player in the region’s blockchain development.

The positive impact of this proposal on the Cardano community will be significant, particularly in expanding its global reach. By focusing on Asia, a region with immense potential for blockchain adoption, this initiative will onboard a new wave of users, developers, and enterprises to the Cardano ecosystem. Additionally, fostering local communities through education and engagement will encourage innovation and collaboration, helping to further strengthen the Cardano network.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

Our proposal is being managed by the Kaizen Crypto team, a well-established brand with the Cardano ecosystem. Our progress for all relevant Cardano projects has remained transparent within the Cardano community.

Our team has been previously funded in Catalyst funding rounds, and we continue to find new solutions to existing problems. Our efforts to build on Cardano demonstrate a strong desire to continue pushing the ecosystem forward.

What are the key milestones you need to achieve in order to complete your project successfully?

Milestone 1: Milestone 1: Research and Content Development

Outputs:

• Research on key markets in Asia to identify language preferences, cultural nuances, and potential user demographics.
• Creation of localized educational content tailored to the specific needs of the Asian market.

Acceptance Criteria:

• An outline of community onboarding and networking events for 2 countries in Asia
• Media content translated into the languages of each of these respective countries

Milestone 2: Milestone 2: Strategic Partnerships and Outreach

Outputs:

• Establish partnerships with local influencers to enhance the campaign’s reach.
• Develop a marketing plan that includes 1 video and 5 written posts for each of the 2 countries that will be included in this proposal.

Acceptance Criteria:

• Collaboration between the Kaizen Crypto team and the southeast asian community.
• Marketing plan includes an outline of 1 video topic per country (2 Total) and 5 written post topics (10 Total)

Evidence of Completion:

• Links to collaborations between local influencers and the Kaizen Crypto team
• Link to outline of social media plan

Milestone 3: Milestone 3: Event Execution and User Engagement

Outputs:

• Host the first in-person workshop across key Asian regions, focused on educating users about Cardano’s ecosystem, staking, and dApps.
• Provide hands-on tutorials for setting up Cardano wallets, staking, and exploring the ecosystem's capabilities, ensuring active user participation.

Acceptance Criteria:

• Workshop will be held in a meetup area for the first country outlined in the proposal.
• Attendees can sign up to a luma event registration form
• Proof of onboarding cards will be given to attendees interested in creating a Cardano wallet and claiming free tokens from ecosystem projects.

Evidence of Completion:

• Pictures of the first in-person meetup
• Link to post on Kaizen Crypto X profile that showcase event highlights

Final Milestone: Final Milestone: Final Event and Ecosystem Onboarding

Outputs:

• Host the next in-person workshop with a focus on onboarding new users and how they can get involved in the Cardano ecosystem.
• Highlight top projects in the Cardano ecosystem that are building and how new users can get involved.
• Close out report

• The workshop will be held in a meetup area for the second country outlined in the proposal.
• Proof of Onboarding cards will be given to event attendees in an effort help bring new users into the Cardano community.

Who is in the project team and what are their roles?

Pritesh Gosai - Kaizen Crypto

Pritesh is a long-time Cardano community member who has been contributing to the ecosystem since 2017. He began creating educational content for the Cardano ecosystem in 2019 and has operated Kaizen stakepools since the Incentivized Testnet. Since then, he has gone on to create one of the most well established brands in the Cardano community with a Youtube channel that has over 1M views and 30k subscribers. He operates several stakepools and contributes to charity in India and Sri Lanka with operator rewards from Krishna stakepool. The Kaizen Crypto brand is now supported by several community members who span across the entire globe to continue the ethos of continuous improvement for Cardano. The Kaizen Crypto team has previously been funded through Catalyst for Lovelace Saga, Cardano Calendar, and the Cardano 101 Course.

The funding requested is needed to pay for the venue costs of hosting in-person events, as well as the materials for marketing and travel accommodations.
