Solution

Education is fundamental to being involved in the Cardano ecosystem. By offering targeted programs in Sri Lanka, this initiative can equip citizens with skills to access decentralized infrastructure.

Problem

Much of the population in Sri Lanka is unbanked or underbanked, with limited awareness of emerging technologies. How can Cardano address the challenges of financial inclusion in this country?

Kaizen Crypto - Cardano Education and Onboarding in Sri Lanka

Please describe your proposed solution

Our proposed solution is to host in-person meetups across Sri Lanka, focusing on educating and onboarding individuals into the Cardano ecosystem. These meetups will provide hands-on training in blockchain technology, teaching participants how to create digital wallets, engage in decentralized finance (DeFi), and utilize Cardano’s decentralized applications (dApps). By offering direct access to education and support, this initiative empowers communities to achieve financial inclusion and equips individuals with the tools to participate in the global blockchain economy.

Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community

This solution will have a positive impact on the Cardano ecosystem by significantly expanding its user base and fostering a more educated and engaged community in Sri Lanka. By providing in-person meetups, our initiative will create a grassroots movement of individuals who are more likely to actively participate in staking, governance, and dApp usage. This increased adoption will drive network activity, and contribute to the overall growth and resilience of the Cardano ecosystem.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

Our proposal is being managed by the Kaizen Crypto team, a well-established brand with the Cardano ecosystem. Our progress for all relevant Cardano projects has remained transparent within the Cardano community.
