Solution

Creation of videos explaining the cardano ecosystem and project catalyst (English and French).

Creation of a website on the Cardano ecosystem .awareness-raising sessions at various universities

Problem

We want to solve the problem of students’ lack of knowledge of cardano ecosystem and project catalyst in Goma.

Impact / Alignment
Insufficient knowledge of Cardano among university students in the city of Goma

Please describe your proposed solution.

Creation of videos explaining the cardano ecosystem in two languages (English and French): these videos describing the cardano ecosystem and project catalyst in particular will be made available to students in the city of goma to familiarize them with it.

creation of a website containing information on the Cardano ecosystem and related activities. poster of the various activities carried out as part of this project.

awareness-raising sessions at various universities: we'll be explaining what the Cardano ecosystem is to students at the city's universities.

How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

Our project solves the problem by informing the majority of Goma's university students about the cardano and project catalyst ecosystem, so that they can benefit from funding for their projects.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

The success of this project will be measured by the number of participants in the conferences held, the videos recorded, the number of universities enrolled in the program and by the number of registrations on project catalyst.

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

The videos created will be posted

on the project website: leaflets will be available electronically on the site, and images of completed activities will be added progressively as the project evolves. Monthly activity reports will be sent .

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

Having taught for more than 15 years in the universities of Goma and knowing the students well, we believe we can carry this project through to its implementation.

We have worked on a number of similar projects with local university management committees, so we will be able to convince other management committee members and students from Goma universities to take ownership of the cardano ecosystem and project catalyst by individual, in order to receive funding.

Finally, we will work with developers experienced in designing websites, web and mobile applications, as well as professional photographers and speakers with an understanding of the Cardano blockchain.

What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

This project aims to get students in the city of Goma interested in the Cardano ecosystem and Catalyst in particular, and thus increase this community in Africa and the DRC in particular.

The feasibility of these objectives will be validated by the numbers of students who have been sensitized, followed the various face-to-face or online training courses, and integrated the Cardano and Catalyst ecosystems in particular.

Please provide a detailed breakdown of your project’s milestones and each of the main tasks or activities to reach the milestone plus the expected timeline for the delivery.

Moth 1: Contact the goma university authorities

Moth 2 -3: creating the website

Moth 4: Produce flyers on the Cardano ecosystem and project Catalyst in 2 languages (French and English).

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The overall cost of the project is realistic because it corresponds to the activities to be carried out. We will take into account the complexity of the work to be done, and all parameters will be analyzed
