Humble Records UBI Music Collective

The solution is to put out the best music so that listeners can ONLY find said music on the Cardano blockchain.

Perhaps this sounds naïve but we must start somewhere.

Beaucoup artists are disgusted with how their digital music is monetized so let’s create an alternative. Ultimately, the fans will go where the talent is. Put Taylor Swift on Cardano and folks will leave Spotify. That’s hyperbolic but makes the point.

The interconnected element of this solution is to merge music and charity (UBI) so fans become more purposeful in their listening habits. Cardano is a great place to do this.

I’d like to see us track three things:

  1. # of monthly music releases (for sale, not airdrops) by Humble Records artists.

  2. ADA Sales Total Volume

  3. Total UBI ADA dispersed per month as well as participants

The only real risks will be keeping the artists engaged enough to continually release on Cardano. A big part of this will be NFT sales though Catalyst funding could temporarily supplant that.

These are the target goals from above with the appropriate KPI filled in:

I’d like to see us track three things:

  1. 1.5 monthly music releases (for sale, not airdrops) by Humble Records artists.

  2. 1,000 ADA Sales Total Volume Monthly

  3. 500 Total UBI ADA dispersed per month as well as participants’ surveyed regarding how the UBI affected them in their mental health, lifestyle, etc.

Mainly it will be “salarying” the creators so they and their dev teams can continue to produce and share epic content on the chain.

Additionally, it will provide funding for arts centric Twitter spaces to grow the arts community on Cardano. 150 ADA per month will go to the hosts of said whilst the remaining 900 ADA will be allocated toward outreach/current creators’ misc expenses.

Bob Peace has mainly been a live performer though his early work received radio play on NPR and more. Lately he’s been focusing his energies on recording music and making in person connections in the biz.

Derek Pantling is an accomplished jazz pianist and photographer who has won numerous awards. He also coached Drake’s producer Noah “40” Shebib in youth hockey.

Kyd Juse is a model, actor, musician, entrepreneur and overall good human. His ample, real world experience and success in the music and entrainment industry as well as his commitment to blockchain positions him to highly succeed and bring others along for the ride.

DSQISE is an accomplished producer with an ear for melody. He provides a massive resource for musicians in need of remixes as well as contributes his own songs and albums to the blockchain.

The Listening Room attendance growth by 10% each month for 3 Month Term.

Achieving the following goals:

  1. 1.5 monthly music releases (for sale, not airdrops) by Humble Records artists.

  2. 1,000 ADA Sales Total Volume Monthly

  3. 500 Total UBI ADA dispersed per month as well as participants’ surveyed regarding how the UBI affected them in their mental health, lifestyle, etc.

Brand new proposal. Excited to bring the “cool” factor on chain.
