Solution Overview:

We propose the development and implementation of smart contracts for hotel room reservations and payments. By leveraging Cardano blockchain technology, smart contracts can automate the entire booking and payment process, from reservation confirmation to payment settlement.

Key Features:

  1. Automated Booking Process: Smart contracts will automate the booking process, eliminating the need for manual intervention and reducing the risk of errors or double bookings.
  2. Secure Payment Transactions: Payments will be processed securely through blockchain technology, ensuring transparency and reducing the risk of fraud or unauthorized access.
  3. Immutable Records: All transactions will be recorded on the Cardano blockchain, creating a tamper-proof and auditable record of hotel bookings and payments.
  4. Seamless Guest Experience: Guests will experience a seamless booking and payment process, enhancing satisfaction and loyalty.
  5. Cost Savings: By automating processes and reducing the need for manual intervention, hotels can realize cost savings in administrative expenses.
  6. Stable Coin- USDM: Transaction amount will be Converted to USDM when needed to avoid volatility risk.

As Cloud10 Hospitality is Co-proposer and first company to implement it, they are going to pay for budget shortfall amount $10,500.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The cost is based on effort estimates for all members involved in the project. Average Cost of developer and relevant skills are taken.

Total Cost is higher than Maximum Budget permissible for a project in this category. Short fall in budget is being paid by proposer Company Cloud10 Hospitality as they will be first user of this concept once it is ready.
