Please describe your proposed solution

There are 5 key components to this project:

1. Bespoke onboarding guides intended to walk charity representatives through the process of setting themselves up to receive donations through Cardano.
2. A public pre-registration git repository for charities that are early to the process. Once the work for the onchain registry is finished, the pre-registration repository will be archived and the charities registered will be registered onchain by the team.
3. A set of onchain contracts that allows the creation of unique registrations at a unique, discoverable onchain registry.
4. An offchain library that allows developers to easily read from and write to the registry in their own products for the purposes of sending donations to charities or allowing charities to register through their site.
5. The creation of an open source registration portal as the first location for charities to easily register directly onchain with no technical knowledge required.

By providing an easy, obvious and useful location for charities to onboard, we can provide vital funding to charities, provide utility to Cardano users, and onboard new users who care about charitable giving.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

At Grabbit we have been hoping for an opportunity to use our position to benefit a variety of charities for some time, and have built up a network of friendships & partnerships with connections to ~20,000 charitable organizations.

Together we expect to be able to onboard hundreds to thousands of charities to Cardano.

What are the key milestones you need to achieve in order to complete your project successfully?

Milestone 1: Pre-registration Repository & Schema

Set up a public repository for charities to pre-register to, allowing for early outreach to charities that may be interested in being involved.

Define the data schema to be used for registrations.

Milestone 2: Onboarding Guides

A collection of documentation hosted publicly that explains everything a non-technical charity representative may need to understand about Cardano to be able to receive donations at a wallet address.

Milestone 3: Onchain Contracts

A series of open-source onchain contracts used to establish a discoverable onchain registry.

Milestone 4: Offchain Library

An open-source offchain library available on the NPM registry for developers to easily integrate into their projects.

Final Milestone: Registration Portal

An open-source public facing registration form that allows non-technical users to easily register as a charity on Cardano.
