Global Cardano Onboarding and Training Workshops: Empowering 1000+ New Users

Please describe your proposed solution

We are addressing the critical issue of low user adoption and active transactions on the Cardano blockchain. Our solution involves hosting a series of 10 onboarding and training workshops across 9 countries, targeting over 1,000 participants. These workshops will provide comprehensive coverage of blockchain fundamentals, self-sovereign wallet setup, DApp usage, and Cardano governance.

Each participant will receive a small amount of ADA to use during hands-on activities, allowing them to familiarise themselves with conducting transactions on Cardano and exploring its vibrant ecosystem. This practical experience ensures that users are equipped with both the knowledge and skills necessary for meaningful engagement with the blockchain.

Our approach is community-centric, emphasising live, interactive training that helps new users onboard seamlessly. By fostering confidence in their ability to interact with the Cardano ecosystem, we aim to cultivate a more engaged user base.

This initiative will significantly increase the number of active users on Cardano, promoting broader adoption of DApps and decentralised finance (DeFi) solutions. By reaching a global audience and addressing the knowledge gap, we are committed to creating lasting impact and growth within the Cardano community.

Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community

This project will onboard over 1,000 new users into the Cardano ecosystem, equipping them with the skills and confidence necessary to engage with DApps and the broader blockchain landscape. These users will actively participate in governance, conduct transactions using ADA, and explore various DeFi opportunities, all of which will contribute to increased activity and vitality on the network.

We will measure the success of our initiative through several key metrics:

  • Number of Wallets Created: Our target is to create 1,000+ new wallets, directly increasing the user base and fostering a community of engaged participants.
  • DApp Engagement: We will track the number of participants who interact with at least one Cardano DApp, assessing their ability to apply what they’ve learned during the workshops.
  • ADA Transaction Volume: Monitoring the transaction volume generated by participants will provide insight into their active involvement in the ecosystem.
  • Workshop Attendance and Feedback: Collecting attendance records and qualitative feedback will help us evaluate participant engagement and the overall effectiveness of our workshops.

We will share the outputs and resources generated from the workshops openly through the Olympus Insights platform, social media channels, and relevant Cardano community forums. This approach will not only extend the reach of our project but also inspire further onboarding initiatives within the community, fostering a culture of continuous learning and engagement.

By successfully implementing this project, we aim to enhance the Cardano ecosystem's user base, driving adoption and participation that align with Cardano's mission of promoting a decentralised and inclusive financial system.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

Our team possesses the expertise and experience necessary to deliver this project with high levels of trust and accountability. We have a strong foundation in education, technology, marketing, and community engagement, which positions us uniquely to execute a successful onboarding initiative for Cardano.

To ensure the feasibility of our approach, we employ established methodologies and best practices drawn from our collective backgrounds. Our proven track record in managing complex projects and driving user engagement gives us confidence in our ability to execute this initiative effectively.

We are committed to maintaining transparency and accountability in our financial management throughout the project's lifecycle. Our processes for managing funds include:

  1. Comprehensive Financial Planning: Our budget is meticulously structured based on industry standards and typical rates for professional services. This strategic approach ensures that all expenditures are reasonable and directly aligned with the project's objectives.
  2. Regular Financial Audits: We will conduct periodic audits to maintain accountability and verify that funds are being used effectively. This process builds trust among stakeholders and ensures alignment with project goals.
  3. Performance Tracking: By establishing clear key performance indicators (KPIs) for user onboarding and engagement, we will continuously monitor progress and make data-driven decisions to enhance project outcomes.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: We will maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and financial status. This fosters transparency and encourages collaborative feedback, ensuring alignment with community needs.

Through these measures, we aim to establish a strong foundation of trust and accountability while executing our project. Our commitment to leveraging our collective expertise ensures that we are well-positioned to deliver a high-quality onboarding experience that significantly benefits the Cardano community.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

This project offers exceptional value for money by onboarding over 1,000 new users to Cardano, promoting active participation in DApps and governance, and fostering long-term engagement with the blockchain.

Our budget has been carefully structured based on thorough market research and analysis of industry standards. We considered average wages and typical freelance rates for professionals in education, technology, and community engagement. This ensures that all costs are reasonable and directly aligned with the quality of the workshops we aim to deliver.

The cost-effectiveness of the workshops is particularly notable given their reach across 8 countries, enabling direct engagement with diverse global communities. By building a network of skilled users through hands-on training, we will significantly enhance the Cardano ecosystem's adoption and transaction volume.

Moreover, the potential return on investment is substantial, as these newly onboarded users will contribute to increased activity on the Cardano blockchain, drive the use of DApps, and participate in governance. The positive social impact of empowering individuals with blockchain knowledge will further amplify the project's value, aligning with Cardano's mission of fostering an inclusive and innovative financial ecosystem.
