Please describe your proposed solution.
We want to educate students that are already aware of the blockchain world about Catalyst, to make them participate in the next funds.
To do so, we will do multiple workshops in different French cities. We plan to do it first in Paris, Lyon and Grenoble. In these workshops, we will explain what Catalyst is, give our testimony about our experiences of Catalyst, and organize a little challenge that will be a simulation of what could be a participation to Catalyst. This little simulation would be a 3 hour challenge with 3 different challenge that each team could choose, and they'd have to make a proposal for it. The winning team will win 200 ADA per participant, to incentivize them to open a Cardano wallet and make their first steps in this ecosystem.
This will allow these students to understand Catalyst, and have an idea of what is participating in it in an interactive way. Therefore, we will be able to know who is really involved and pleased by Catalyst, and shape a good team for the next funds.
To finish, we will accompany the people that will be wanting to participate to guide them during their experiences with Catalyst, and help them to be funded.
How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?
Our solution fits the challenge perfectly, as it’s allowing people that are already qualified to participate in Catalyst. In the community in which we want to intervene, there are people that have knowledge on the tech side of blockchain, on digital laws (MiCa for instance), on marketing…
Bringing them to be participants of the next funds could be a very good asset for Catalyst, and help them to have their first experience in the web 3 world. The Cardano ecosystem will then be able to host the first experience of talented persons, which could make them work on Cardano later in their career.
How do you intend to measure the success of your project?
We will measure the success of this project thanks to the number of participants in our workshops. We’ll also use as a metric the number of people that we accompany projects in the next funds, as well as the number of schools represented in our team.
Our goal is also to bring different talents to Catalyst, so one of our metrics will be the diversity of the domains of these people. Finally, the fact that any one of these people start a project on the Cardano blockchain would definitely be a big win for us.
Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?
We want to share the results and the ongoing of our workshops and interactive experience with this community, as well as explaining and documenting the journey of their participation in the next funds.
Sharing plans, drafts of proposals, moments of co-work and results of projects will be our way to show the success of our educational mission. We will document our journey with photos, communication after the events, video recap of the 3 events when all these will be finished.
