Fluxus: NFT & Gaming Alliance

Please describe your proposed solution.

With Cardano's rapid development and growth, there comes new challenges. The ecosystem has gotten large enough that it is nearly impossible to keep up with every development that is happening, and it has become equally difficult to parse through the projects and information.

Therefore, the ecosystem will need to begin developing groups and alliances. We have seen the beginnings of these developments through SPOCRA and the DeFi Alliance, but there are so many more areas where these groups or alliances are needed. This is where the Fluxus NFT & Gaming Alliance come in. We are a group of experienced individuals in all aspects of NFT generation, game development, and the Cardano ecosystem. We want to take that experience and put it towards developing an alliance that benefits IOG, Cardano, the projects that we are partnered with, and, most importantly, the users within the Cardano Ecosystem.

With multiple partners ready to join, a number of Cardano and non-Cardano NFT Projects asking how to get involved, and far to much to list, we are ready to bring about the best of the Cardano NFT & gaming ecosystems!

Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.

The Fluxus CNFT & Gaming Alliance will be a group to bring transparency, interoperability, and resources to projects within and outside the Cardano ecosystem. At first, it will focus on the Cardano Ecosystem, but, as Cardano is a 3rd generation crypto that aims to provide interoperability, we will also seek to bring in project from outside of Cardano as time goes on.

With regard to interoperability, one of the many benefits of the alliance would be the coming together and development of interoperability of projects connected to the alliance. This would allow for a streamlined connectivity of projects and connections from other ecosystems throughout Cardano.

Overall, the Fluxus CNFT & Gaming Alliance would really bring more adoption of these particular ecosystems by creating transparency, interoperability, and increasing the value-proposition of the CNFT and gaming ecosystems for users.

What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

Fluxus has the knowledge, time, and capability, but the main challenges that we foresee for us delivering are funding and other blockchain project’s willingness to migrate.

While Project Catalyst can mitigate the funding challenges, we know that the real work head or challenge for us delivering successfully (or determining level of success) will be finding willing projects to either migrate fully or facilitate Cardano interoperability. Though, our team is ready with all the resources necessary to accomplish these tasks!

Please provide a detailed plan, including timeline and key milestones for delivering your proposal.

-- Q3 of 2022 –

  • Complete full on-boarding of team.
  • Increase marketing & awareness of the Fluxus NFT & Gaming Alliance.
  • Increase NFT/Gaming partnerships to a total of 12 or greater

-- Q4 of 2022 –

  • Increase NFT/Gaming partnerships to a total of 20 or greater.
  • Increase indirect partnerships (DeFi, Launchpads, etc.) to a total of 5 or greater.
  • Begin integration and migration of NFT and gaming projects from outside the Cardano Ecosystem.

-- Q1-2 of 2023 –

  • Have developed a standardized method of integrating and migrating non-Cardano NFT and Gaming projects over to Cardano.
  • Increase the direct and indirect partnerships of the alliance to 30 or greater.

Together, we have decades of coding, project management, and business experience, and we want to use Fluxus’s skills to bring Cardano’s capabilities for interoperability to the forefront of this magnificent 3rd generation crypto!

If you are funded, will you return to Catalyst in a later round for further funding? Please explain why / why not.

Though we have a plan/roadmap to get the Alliance to a point of sustainability, we will, most likely, have to apply for further funding in future rounds.

What we are aiming to build is a gigantic undertaking, so it will depend on if we are able to make it to our sustainability goals. If we can do that, then we would not need ask for further Project Catalyst funding.

Please describe what you will measure to track your project's progress, and how will you measure these?

The progress of the Fluxus NFT & Gaming alliance would be tracked through how closely we are to our timelines listed above, and we would measure our progress by:

  • The number of Cardano NFT & gaming projects that partner with the alliance.
  • The number of non-Cardano NFT and gaming projects that partner with the alliance.
  • The number of other projects or platforms (DeFi, RealFi, Launchpads, etc.) that partner with the alliance.
  • The number of hours that we provide our staff to assisting projects and having them readily available.
  • Reaching a break-even or point of financial stability within the Fluxus NFT & Gaming Alliance.
  • Common KPIs including: Partner Satisfaction Scores, Partner Effort Scores (how difficult was the process to get what you needed within the alliance, and many other common KPIs.

What does success for this project look like?

Success for the Fluxus NFT & Gaming Alliance would be reaching a sustainable position where we would not need to seek further Project Catalyst Funding, have over 30 high-quality and happily partnered projects/platforms (with at least 5 being DeFi, RealFi, Launchpad, or non-NFT-based), and develop a blooming and high-quality NFT ecosystem within Cardano for projects and users alike.

Please provide information on whether this proposal is a continuation of a previously funded project in Catalyst or an entirely new one.

This is a new proposal on Project Catalyst.
