As highlighted by Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, there is a significant disconnect between the reality of Cardano's innovations and advancements and the public perception, which is often shaped by influencers and media that do not delve into the real fundamentals and impacts of the technology. This problem is exacerbated by the lack of reliable communication channels that can present accurate and educational information on blockchain and cryptocurrencies to a broader audience.

Our project aims to address this informational gap by creating a weekly program on BM&C NEWS, the first of its kind in Brazil focused on blockchain. This program will not only discuss news and trends in the blockchain industry but will also dedicate segments to explaining the fundamentals and updates of Cardano, highlighting advancements in technologies and significant events that include the community and member organizations like Intersect.

The program will be structured to combat misinformation, featuring interviews with experts, market analysis, and educational segments that will demystify complex concepts and present the real and practical benefits of blockchain and Cardano. With this, we hope to elevate the level of understanding about Cardano in Brazil, serving as an inspiration for other initiatives around the world.

Once implemented on BM&C NEWS, our project will be a pioneer in Brazil by focusing on blockchain, addressing not only Cardano technology but also a variety of relevant themes in the world of cryptocurrencies. The program will not be limited exclusively to Cardano, although it will dedicate a significant segment to discussions and substantial updates about this technology, reflecting its advancements and growing role in the industry.

The structure of the program is designed to maintain editorial independence and impartiality, crucial for journalistic integrity and public trust. This balance is essential to ensure that the information presented is fair and balanced, providing the audience with a clear and unbiased understanding of the various blockchain technologies.

Through this multifaceted approach, the program will not only raise the understanding of Cardano but also inspire a broader view of the potential of blockchain technology, stimulating the curiosity and engagement of the Brazilian public.

Our proposal address the lack of Advertising, Media and professional content.

Our proposal is to create a weekly TV show about blockchain, including updates about Cardano on BM&C NEWS, the only TV network in Brazil focused on investments and business, and the largest finance portal in the country. The identified problem is the limited dissemination and lack of knowledge about Cardano technology, which limits its understanding and adoption in the region.

To address this problem, we chose a multimedia approach on a highly credible journalism channel, creating the first TV show in Brazil focused on blockchain that will air weekly, with reruns and distribution on digital platforms such as YouTube BM&C NEWS YouTube and social networks. In addition to the main program, we will have short educational segments, articles on the BM&C NEWS Portal.

BM&C News is the largest-reaching media outlet in Brazil in the segment.

Leading in Pay TV and Online.

Additionally, 8 educational videos will be published on BM&C Class, the BM&C education portal in partnership with B3, the Brazilian stock exchange. The partnership with B3 adds significant reach to this content. This same BM&C Class content will also be broadcast during the late night on BM&C NEWS TV.

Continuidade-da-Cardano-4-16be24.png

Our project aims to engage a diverse audience, including investors, decision-makers, technology enthusiasts, students, and financial market professionals. We demonstrate our impact through monitoring reports with audience ratings, engagement on BM&C NEWS digital platforms, and TV.

What makes our solution unique is the combination of BM&C NEWS' reach and credibility with specialized and educational content about Cardano. This project will directly benefit Cardano by increasing visibility and stimulating technology adoption in Brazil, strengthening the ecosystem with the potential to foster strategic partnerships. Greater adoption and knowledge drive continuous development and innovation of Cardano.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

The successful execution of the initial project funded by the Intersect Education and Multimedia Grant exemplifies the strong foundation of trust and accountability established by pioneering members Daniela Alves and Maria Carmo. Their proven track record within the Cardano community, coupled with their deep understanding of decentralized governance, positions them well to lead this new phase of the project. Maria Carmo and Daniela Alves were also elected at the constitutional workshop in São Paulo to represent the community at the constitutional convention that will take place in Argentina.

Daniela Alves and Maria Carmo recently published an article on the BM&C NEWS portal, a platform that receives over 30 million monthly visits, providing significant exposure. The article delves into the Catalyst program and offers reflections on the Voltaire era, exploring how decentralized governance will shape the future of the Cardano ecosystem. This collaboration highlights the importance of promoting decentralized governance and showcases insights shared by Charles Hoskinson on the future of Cardano's decentralized innovation fund.

Budget Note We submitted the same project in the previous fund, but ADA was at 0.50 cents per dollar. At this moment, when we redid the budget, ADA is at 0.3440 cents per dollar. We were able to negotiate with the TV channel to maintain the budget, making some adjustments due to the significant drop in ADA. Our partner agreed that the terms would continue to be in ADA, despite the fluctuation.
