Solution

We will do educational talks, in some places environmental impact and social impact events, where they will be educated, and open wallets, to understand the system of DeFi, and the Cardano blockchain.

Problem

We will expand the merchant communities that use Cardano ADa as a means of payment, and grow the Cardano communities. Since there are currently few merchants using Cardano ADA as a means of payment.

Expanding the Cardano community (Argentina, Kenia and R. D. Congo)

Please describe your proposed solution

We have been working for more than a year in different areas where we want to implement this proposal. We see that the lack of financial education on the one hand and the lack of cultural values on the other hand are fundamental issues that need to be solved.

By working on the values of financial education related to blockchain—especially the Cardano blockchain—we can take them to a new cultural stage. This will give tools to these citizens to improve their quality of life on the one hand, while enlarging the Cardano community in these areas on the other. We aim to integrate them into the international network of Cardano's diverse communities.

Token Mithrandir's board of directors is composed mostly of business people related to the world of commerce with ethical values. We know how to manage funds and carry out commercial activities successfully. We have already been working on similar activities, which were financed by the sale of our NFTs available at www.jpg.store.

We believe these activities will bring hundreds of people into the daily life of Cardano, increasing the marketing of Cardano in social networks. This will be based on the real experience of educational assistance and environmental impact actions, which will accompany these educational talks.

Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community

From Token Mithrandir, we consider that this project will be positive for the Cardano community for several reasons, from both social and qualitative aspects. A large number of small traders and professionals will know the Cardano blockchain and have open wallets with assets inside, increasing the transactions within the Cardano network. Many will begin using the blockchain for their commercial transactions. Financial education will become a core part of their lives, with Cardano as the conceptual framework.

In terms of quantitative data, we will measure this through the number of open wallets and transactions within the Cardano network. We will also track how many wallets are linked to different Cardano pools. Each event will include a list of wallets that received NFTs and tokens, which we will send in Excel format when accounts are rendered. This will allow those responsible for monitoring the project's implementation to verify the opening of wallets and the assets received.

We have already carried out educational and environmental impact activities. Here are some press releases regarding this:

Final Milestone: Milestone Final:

The acceptance criteria will be visible since we will be able to see the number of people who attended the various events that were held for the opening of these wallets, and how they were incorporated into the Cardano ecosystem.

Making a final video with images from various moments of various events that we were carrying out in order to include these more than 600 citizens of the world of commerce in the Cardano blockchain ecosystem and the international Cardano community. We take the number of 600 wallets to be opened as a minimum, given that we have a chance that this number will be higher, throughout all the events that we will carry out during the 6 months that the implementation of the proposal will last.

No dependencies.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The project has a strong cost-value ratio, especially considering the high inflation rates in the countries where it will be implemented (Argentina, Kenya, DR Congo). Token Mithrandir's treasury will absorb any additional costs due to inflation, ensuring the successful delivery of the project. This project will help to bring Cardano into commercial use and grow the Cardano community (especially the commercial sector) in these 3 countries.
