Event at the Buenos Aires City Congress

Please describe your proposed solution

The project addresses this by training legislators and officials with talks, workshops and discussion panels on blockchain, Cardano and legislation, facilitating their adoption.

Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community

Our project will have a significant positive impact on the wider Cardano community by promoting the adoption of Cardano in government and public policy. Specifically:

  • Increased awareness: By educating legislators and public officials, we are positioning Cardano as a key player in the blockchain space for governance, transparency, and innovation.
  • Potential regulatory frameworks: The event could lead to the development of blockchain-friendly regulations that will encourage further use of Cardano in public sector projects.
  • Wider adoption: Legislators and public officials trained in Cardano will be more likely to support blockchain-based initiatives, helping to expand the network’s ecosystem.
  • Community growth: By integrating Cardano into governmental projects, we create a bridge between the public sector and the global Cardano community, fostering partnerships and collaborations on future blockchain projects.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

Our capability to deliver this project with high levels of trust and accountability is based on the following key elements:

  • Proven experience: Our team, through the Fundación Blockchain Argentina, has successfully organized similar educational and technology-focused events, building strong relationships with government officials and blockchain experts.
  • Transparent project management: We will use project management tools to track milestones, share progress updates, and maintain open communication with stakeholders, ensuring transparency at every stage.
  • Expert partnerships: We are collaborating with established industry experts and representatives from the Cardano community, ensuring the quality and accuracy of the content delivered.
  • Feasibility validation: To ensure the approach is feasible, we have already engaged with key stakeholders, such as legislators and public officials, to confirm interest and participation. We will also run small-scale pilot workshops prior to the event to refine our methodology and adjust based on feedback.
  • Measurable outcomes: We have set clear success metrics, including attendance, participant feedback, and post-event follow-up actions (e.g., legislative discussions or initiatives), which will be used to validate the impact and feasibility of our approach.

What are the key milestones you need to achieve in order to complete your project successfully?

Milestone 1: Milestone 1: Pre-Event Preparation (1st month)

Key Criteria:

Speaker Confirmation: All national and international speakers must be confirmed, with contracts signed and logistical details sorted out (flights, accommodation).

Content Development: Training materials (presentations, brochures, manuals) completed and reviewed. Content approval by blockchain experts and Cardano representatives.

Marketing and Promotion Underway: Launch of the event promotion campaign, with social media announcements, official invitations to legislators and officials, and coordination with press to ensure media coverage.

Administrative Approvals: Logistical approvals with the Buenos Aires Legislature (date, permits, technical requirements), and agreement of the parties involved.

Acceptance:

This milestone is considered accepted when all speakers are confirmed, the content is ready, and the marketing campaign is active.

Milestone 2: Milestone 2: Execution of Logistics and Partnerships (2nd month)

Key Criteria:

Hiring of Audiovisual Equipment: Technical equipment for the event must be booked and confirmed (sound, projection, recording).

Catering and Participant Logistics: Confirmation of catering services for attendees and ensuring proper registration management for invited legislators and officials.

Partnerships with Foundations and Entities: Formalization of partnerships with key entities such as the Cardano Foundation and other partners, which will include details about their participation in the event and technical support.

Attendee Registrations: Ensure that half of the expected guests have already confirmed their attendance (50 out of 100 guests).

Acceptance:

This milestone is considered successful when all logistics have been confirmed, technical equipment is booked, and at least 50% of expected attendees have confirmed their participation.

Milestone 3: Milestone 3: Event Execution (3rd month)

Key Criteria:

Event Development According to Schedule: The event must develop as planned, with talks, roundtables, and workshops running according to the approved program.

Participation of Legislators and Officials: Ensure the attendance and active participation of key officials, with a focus on the exchange of ideas and resolution of doubts.

Effective Technical Demonstrations: Blockchain and Cardano technology demonstrations must run smoothly, guaranteeing a fluid and educational experience for attendees.

Networking and Positive Alliances: Facilitate the interaction between legislators, officials, and blockchain experts, establishing new relationships that can continue working on legislative issues.

Acceptance:

This milestone is considered fulfilled when the event is carried out as planned, with a high level of acceptable attendance, active participation, and success in the demonstrations.

Final Milestone: FINAL MILESTONE: Post-Event Evaluation and Follow-Up

Key Criteria:

Participant Satisfaction Assessment: Collect feedback through surveys to assess attendee satisfaction regarding the content, organization, and relevance of the event.

Event Impact Report: Write a detailed report that includes key statistics (attendants, satisfaction levels, media reach) and recommendations for future editions or follow-up projects.

New Initiatives Tracking: Verify the start of conversations or legislative projects arising from the event, such as bill proposals or discussions on blockchain adoption in public administration.

Communication with the Cardano Community: Present the results of the event to the Cardano community, showing how awareness and adoption of the platform was boosted in the city.

Acceptance:

This milestone is accepted when the results of the event are collected and analyzed, reports are published, and new legislative initiatives or proposals are identified.
