Drip Pass: Seamless Adoption + New User Liquidity Funnel

Please describe your proposed solution

Drip Pass will repackage DripDropz' existing token delivery offerings into a seamless annual subscription service. The service will be marketed to a broad crypto-curious audience and sold online for fiat. Any wallets associated with a Drip Pass purchase will conveniently begin receiving automatic distributions of various Cardano project tokens each month.

Drip Pass wallets will be automatically allocated select premium project tokens each epoch using DripDropz' proven Instant Rewards API. Each month relevant token allocation accumulations will be automatically distributed to Drip Pass users. New customers will be provided resources to easily setup mnemonic-free mobile wallets. Mitigating the major onboarding barriers associated with needing to procure Ada and overcoming wallet setup mnemonic intimidation will empower a frictionless path to establish viable marketing funnels for converting users from much broader audiences.

Revenue generated from the fiat subscription sales of Drip Pass will serve as a conduit to directly introduce new liquidity into Cardano native asset ecosystems.

Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community

Sustainable Cardano rewards and treasury landscapes depend on Cardano attracting and harboring products capable of driving meaningful user transaction volumes. Drip Pass opens up the sellable available market (SAM) associated with DripDropz product offerings orders of magnitude.

Drip Pass will:

  1. enable DripDropz dripping subscriptions to be automated and sold in fiat
  2. open up market for DripDropz to sell to 100M+ potential customers
  3. eliminates common intimidation barriers which mitigates consumer onboarding
  4. create revenue and directly introduce new liquidity into Cardano native asset ecosystems
  5. provide a meaningful conduit to regularly educate new users

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

The DripDropz team is fully public, with members regularly engaging with the community at various public events. We've exhibited at and participated in RareEvo and NFTxLV. Core team members have also spoken at the Cardano Summit in Dubai and frequently engage in governance and ecosystem development within the community.

Our team is active in Catalyst Town Hall and the Intersect MBO. We consistently provide updates on platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Mastodon, and TikTok. Additionally, we maintain a YouTube channel where we share video updates on new features and After Town Hall presentations. We also host a weekly "SpacePlace" chat on YouTube & X, interacting with the community and answering their questions.

We've fulfilled previous promises made to Catalyst, successfully closing out our Open Source Voting Proposal. Recently, we completed a user survey for our new features and site revamp, gathering valuable insights and feedback. The features outlined in this proposal reflect the most requested enhancements from both project owners and end users on our platform.

What are the key milestones you need to achieve in order to complete your project successfully?

Milestone 1: Drip Pass Specification

Milestone Outputs:

The team will create a specification for the Drip Pass product. This specification will include functional descriptions for the Drip Pass product, including the home page, customer dashboard areas and sales process features. Functionality will outline how Drip Pass will work in detail.

Acceptance Criteria:

A reviewer will be able to verify a detailed product specification of the Drip Pass product exists

Milestone Evidence:

The reviewer will be guided through the Drip Pass specification and intended functionality. This will be documented in a recorded video interview with the design team, which will be published via a YouTube link.

Milestone 2: Drip Pass Design

Milestone Outputs:

The team will create a design for the Drip Pass interface. This design will include designs for the Drip Pass home page and customer dashboard areas where a Drip Pass can be purchased, renewed, assigned or reassigned to a wallet, paused or removed.

Acceptance Criteria:

A reviewer will be able to verify a visual design representation of the Drip Pass interface,

Milestone Evidence:

The reviewer will be guided through the Drip Pass product design. This will be documented in a recorded video interview with the design team, which will be published via a YouTube link.

Milestone 3: DripPass Integration / DripDropz Reconfiguration

Milestone Outputs:

The team will update the DripDropz token delivery backend architectures to support automated recurring dripping, and implement the new frontend design for Drip Pass The reconfiguration update will support this by enabling automated drips which consume one pre-purchased platform credit per each drip automated, while updating Phyrhose to source the min-utxo Ada required for token delivery from DripDropz “token shipping” Ada inventory.

Acceptance Criteria:

A reviewer will be able to verify, within a testnet environment, the Drip Pass user dashboard for viewing and managing Drip Pass subscriptions and history. A reviewer will be able to review a series of transactions corresponding to the automated drips associated with a testnet address and occurring at the same time each epoch.

Milestone Evidence:

The reviewer will be guided through the Drip Pass user dashboard interface and processes of managing an existing Drip Pass purchase, as well as view dashboard results corresponding with on-chain activity to confirm reconfiguration of DripDropz functionality and implementation of design. This will be documented in a recorded video interview with the developer team, which will be published via a YouTube link. Support for fiat payment will not be integrated at this time.

Milestone 4: Drip Pass Fiat Payment Integration

Milestone Outputs:

The team will update the Drip Pass interface to support fiat payments with a fiat payment gateway supporting credit and debit cards.

Acceptance Criteria:

A reviewer will be able to verify purchase of a Drip Pass subscription within a testnet environment using a debit card.

Milestone Evidence:

The reviewer will be guided through the Drip Pass purchase process to confirm successful implementation of a fiat payment gateway system into Drip Pass. This will be documented in a recorded video interview with the developer team, which will be published via a YouTube link.

Milestone 5: Market Research and Landing Pages

Milestone Outputs:

The team will research market trends to create relevant marketing funnels, including designing and developing the landing pages that will be used in the final product.

Acceptance Criteria:

A reviewer will be able to verify a set of landing page designs have been created and developed.

Milestone Evidence:

The reviewer will be guided through the market research conducted and landing pages created. This will be documented in a recorded video interview with the team, which will be published via a YouTube link.

Final Milestone: Launch Drip Pass on Cardano Mainnet

Milestone Outputs:

The team will deploy the Drip Pass codebase to mainnet in a production-ready environment.

Acceptance Criteria:

A reviewer will be able to verify Drip Pass has launched and is fully operational on Cardano mainnet.

Milestone Evidence:

The reviewer will be guided through the Drip Pass product deployed to mainnet. This will be documented in a recorded video interview with the marketing team, which will be published via a YouTube link. Fiat payment will not be integrated at this time.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

Funding Drip Pass will enable one of the only teams in Cardano history to have successfully found product market fit using architectural advantages specific to Cardano the opportunity to do it again - except this time targeting a much broader audience orders of magnitude larger than the existing Cardano ecosystem.

As Drip Pass fulfillments are automated and not user-initiated, user experience cannot be hindered by technical scalability challenges which may arise with the Cardano blockchain. Drip Pass will enable DripDropz to create long-term sticky transaction volumes, which is essential to long term sustainability of the Cardano ecosystem.

Furthermore, Drip Pass will enable a conduit to introduce millions of potential new users to further embrace exploration of the Cardano ecosystem.
