How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

dRep Info series will address three (3) key metrics of the challenge

  1. (Number of dReps) How many dReps were onboarded?

dRep Info series will onboard two hundred (200) people to catalyst to ensure correct voting and effective functioning of dRep.

  1. (Diversity of dReps) Did it lead to the onboarding of diverse dReps with different languages, national origins, occupations, genders, ages, religions, etc.?

Yes, dRep Info series will cover four regions of Ghana. These regions constitute of a group of people with diverse languages, occupation, religion, gender and age.

  1. (Number of delegates) How much did it contribute to increasing the number of delegates to dReps?

dRep Info series will onboard two hundred (200) people to catalyst hence it is expected to marginally increase the number of delegates to dReps since these people will be informed what dRep is and the benefits of delegating votes to dRep.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

  • Two hundred (200) people onboard to Catalyst are voting correctly.
  • Marginal increase in vote delegation to dReps.
  • The number of participants registered for the event via Google form.
  • A total of 200 participants in this project will get adequate education and understanding of dRep, Voting and Vote delegating to dRep. .
  • These events serve as catalysts for improving the marketing of vote delegating to dReps.

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

  • Monthly report: A monthly report of events for said month will be shared to the Cardano community with highlights on the number of people who participated, their occupation, gender their impression.
  • Event Registration Form: We will register participants for the events via Google Forms. This form will constitute all the details of each participant who attend the event. This registration form will be made available to dReps and the entire Cardano community.
  • Publication of participant’s feedback: we will at the end of each event conduct a survey to know how participants are responding to the training. The results from this survey will be made available to the Cardano community.
  • Media engagement & marketing: every event will be advertised on mainstream social media platforms and community radio stations to make sure we cover the entire region to register for the event.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

Transparency: Considering the breakdown of the budget, it is clear how funds are going to be spent on the project. Every item has its associated cost including contingency. This will make it easy for the community to measure the impact of the project.

Good Governance: With the number of people the project seeks to onboard to dReps is significant, this will undoubtedly increase vote delegating to dReps and also ensure correct voting which will lead to informed decisions in the Cardano ecosystem.
