DLT360: The Power of Community! Generating and Sharing News on Global Scale for Continuously Creating High-Quality Web 3.0 Knowledge

Please describe your proposed solution.

Summary

DLT360’s overall mission is to drive real-world blockchain adoption in business and industry. In order to pursue this mission, this project is addressing DLT360's (and CARDANO / Catalyst Community's) challenge to cope with the high amount of interdisciplinary information in the Web 3.0 space, making it difficult to stay up-to-date, extract value-creating news and generate sustainable high-quality knowledge. We solve this challenge by:

  • Creating a powerful Web3.0 Community Platform for generating, discussing and sharing of the latest news (core product: The DLT360 NEWS RADAR)
  • Establishing an active (DAO-based) DLT360 Community of content contributors
  • Implementing motivating incentives on the basis of DLT360 Tokenomics

The graphic below shows the positioning of this project in the overall DLT360 approach (The DLT360 Business Ladder: From Aggregating News, over Knowledge Management to Consulting):

Screenshot-2023-07-11-at-16.06.33-c6b62f.png

Rationale

  • A centralized team can never capture all the geographic and interdisciplinary complexity of Web3.0 innovation and always stay up-to-date.
  • By harnessing the collective power of a community and by establishing a powerful collaborative platform, this project aims to overcome these challenges
  • The incorporation of a DLT360 token-based reward system will motivate the DLT360-Community to contribute, ensuring a continuous flow of quality content.

Strategy

  • Develop an intuitive platform with the DLT360 NEWS RADAR in its center, to aggregate, discuss and share relevant news in collaboration with internal curators
  • Implement a DAO-like structure and compensate contributors for excellence, commitment, and positive contributions (based on the DLT360 Tokenomics)
  • Foster a resilient community of enthusiastic content creators worldwide, emphasizing the highest level of content quality and relevance
  • Integrate the News Radar into DLT360's products and services platform, linking it with the DLT360 Navigator and the DLT360 Risk& Opportunity Radar for comprehensive information integration

Impact

  • Inside the Cardano Blockchain Community

  • Empowers community members to contribute, collaborate, and stay informed about Web 3.0 innovations.

  • Provides a platform for sharing knowledge, creating a vibrant ecosystem within the Cardano community.

  • Enhances the overall understanding of Cardano's technology and potential applications.

  • Outside the Cardano Blockchain Community

  • Offers a valuable resource for individuals and organizations interested in Web 3.0 innovations.

  • Promotes widespread adoption and understanding of blockchain technology.

  • Facilitates cross-industry collaboration and knowledge sharing in the broader Web 3.0 space.

  • Enables users to make informed decisions by accessing curated and relevant information.

  • Fosters innovation and drives the development of new applications and business models in the Web 3.0 domain.

How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

  • Effective Collaboration-Management-Platform and Organization:

  • The creation of the DLT360 Community Platform and of the DLT360 DAO structures fosters valuable collaboration within the DLT360 and the Cardano/Catalyst community

  • Incentivizing contributions using DLT360 token-based rewards will promote active participation and engagement, strengthening the collaboration aspect within the DLT360 and the Cardano/Catalyst ecosystem

  • Additional not yet existing tools to give Cardano a distinct advantage:

  • The proposed platform provides Cardano with a distinct advantage by offering a comprehensive and curated source of information and news on Web 3.0 innovations, bridging the gap in existing tools available on other chains.

  • Community Growth and Engagement:

  • The development of a collaborative platform and the incentivization of community contributions will attract and engage users, leading to increased community growth.

  • The availability of a high-quality news aggregation platform will draw individuals and organizations interested in Web 3.0 innovations to the Cardano ecosystem.

  • Enhanced Knowledge and Understanding:

  • The overall integration with DLT360's other products and services (see graphic above) will provide users with comprehensive information, including real-time data, academic research, and industry-specific content, enabling a deeper understanding of Cardano's technology and potential applications.

  • Users will have access to detailed reports, primers, videos, and private events/webinars related to news items, further enriching their knowledge.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

To measure the success of the project, we will employ a combination of quantitative and qualitative measures. The following are some key areas we intend to measure:

  • User Engagement and Adoption:

  • Number of active users on the DLT360 Community Platform: We will track the growth in the number of users actively engaging with the DLT360 News Radar and participating in the community.

  • User feedback and satisfaction: Conducting surveys, feedback sessions, and analyzing user reviews will provide insights into the user experience and overall satisfaction with the platform.

  • Community Collaboration and Contributions:

  • Number of community-contributed news items: We will measure the quantity and quality of news articles submitted by community members, indicating their level of engagement and contribution.

  • Token rewards distribution: Tracking the distribution of token rewards to community members for their contributions will reflect the level of engagement and commitment within the community.

  • Impact on Cardano Ecosystem:

  • Increased adoption of Cardano: Assessing the number of new DAOs and organizations choosing Cardano as their governance/management chain will indicate the attractiveness and value proposition of Cardano for such entities.

  • Growth in transaction fees generated by DAOs: Monitoring the amount of ADA generated from new DAOs' transaction fees will reflect the platform's effectiveness in facilitating and supporting DAO operations.

  • Reputation and Perception:

  • User testimonials and reviews: Gathering qualitative feedback from users on their experience, satisfaction, and the value they derive from the platform will help measure its impact on the Cardano ecosystem.

  • Positive industry recognition and partnerships: Identifying any partnerships or collaborations established with industry players and receiving positive recognition from the blockchain and Web 3.0 community will indicate the platform's reputation and impact.
