Diversum: An Inclusive Platform for Neurodivergent Individuals

Please describe your proposed solution

Diversum is an app designed to offer a safe and inclusive space for neurodivergent individuals, such as those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other conditions, to build relationships and friendships. The app will focus on:

  • Inclusion: Tailored for neurodivergent users, offering personalized communication tools and social interactions.
  • Accessibility: A design that meets the needs of users with diverse sensory and communication preferences.
  • Blockchain Integration: Utilizing Cardano's ADA for rewards, transactions, and decentralized governance.
  • Social Impact: Profits and donations will support mental health and neurodivergence initiatives.

Key Features:

  1. Matching Algorithms: Based on both personal interests and neurodivergent compatibility.
  2. Custom Communication Options: Personalized profiles and communication preferences (text, visual, etc.).
  3. Gamification & ADA Rewards: Users can earn ADA through positive interactions and community engagement.
  4. Community & Support Groups: Themed channels and group discussions for shared experiences and emotional support.

Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community

Project Impact on the Cardano Ecosystem

The Diversum project will connect Cardano with an underserved community of neurodivergent individuals, enhancing the platform’s reputation for inclusivity and social good. By integrating ADA for rewards and transactions, Diversum will expand the utility of Cardano in real-world applications that foster human connections and well-being.

How we will measure the project impact (quantitative and qualitative)

  • Number of active users: Monitoring the growth of the neurodivergent user base and community engagement.
  • ADA Transactions: Tracking the usage of ADA for rewards and premium features.
  • Social Impact: Evaluation of the reduction in social isolation and improvement in mental health indicators among users.
  • Community Feedback: Collecting qualitative feedback from users to improve the app’s inclusiveness and experience.

How success will bring value to the Cardano community

Diversum will expand Cardano's influence into the social impact space, using blockchain to empower an often overlooked demographic. It will increase ADA’s utility by creating a thriving, decentralized community where users participate in governance and social initiatives.
