Developers Open Sourced Licensing

We hope to increase the number of experts gain more confidence to build collaboratively on community infrastructure, as well as tools that the community can use hence increasing the knowledge base and documentation and projects

Overall Objective: Create an appetite in expert developers to contribute more to open source projects

A. Train 50 new experts from East Africa on Cardano through Plutus pioneer program in the next 6 months using existing Plutus pioneers

B. Focus training on open source licensing to motivate them to come up with open source tools and frameworks

  • Incentivize for active community engagement and contribution to tools and frameworks by working with relevant teams through motivation from expert community members

  • increase the number and quality of Cardano open sourced projects from East Africa

  • increase the number of contributors on the block chain from East Africa

C. Support a competition project from East Africa with rewards for the contribution of open source tools and frameworks for the community

Apathy from experts lack of availability competing demands for time and full time jobs requires that we be very clear how to incentivize the experts to participate in the community
