Impact / Alignment
DAO Diplom₳D₳: towards the Decentralization of Academic Governance in Higher Education in LATAM.

Please describe your proposed solution.

Our proposed solution develops a Cardano-based tool that will impact the Higher Education academic market since it has not been permeated by DAOs.

This proposal describes three aspects as a solution:

.- Registration and certification of governance processes.

.- Collaborative development as an effective form of relationships.

.- Continue developing Diplomada, in public, so that developers can learn from the new possibilities in Cardano.

The creation and growth of the DAO Diplom₳D₳ will gradually strengthen Governance and drive the use and adoption of the Cardano network.

How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

We will create a platform that will promote governance and decentralized and autonomous participation in academic communities, thus enabling usability and growth in the adoption of Cardano and beyond, this project is focused on a solution that will help higher education organizations.

Cardano projects do not yet address these issues. In this sense, our proposal represents a solution to a well-known problem in higher education organizations, which will arouse interest in the Cardano ecosystem by offering useful solutions with use cases of this blockchain.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

The success of our project will have qualitative and quantitative measures.

Qualitative measures:

.- User Feedback, which we will collect and analyze.

.- The commitment and interest of the academic community where we will evaluate their contributions and the sense of participation through the platform.

Quantitative measures:

.- Correct compliance with project milestones in order to guarantee successful delivery.

.- Participation will be our fundamental metric to measure the quality of the tool.

The development of the proposal will have a short-term impact with the adoption of Cardano in the academic community.

In the long term, our proposal will aim to foster innovation within the higher education community, as well as increasing the use of the Cardano DAO, which ultimately contributes to the growth of the network and the value of ADA.

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

Our strategy contemplates a broad and continuous participation of the Cardano community and academy:

We will share project updates, including the completion of major milestones, through Cardano community channels, our project website, and social media.

Timely and detailed project documentation, guides and user manuals will be made available to the public.

We will hold webinars and workshops. We are open to collaborations with academic institutions and other parties interested in our project.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

We have a work team and related entities with extensive experience in academic processes and Blockchain development CARDANO, Web3, Plutus, Haskell, Marlowe, Java, HTML, CCS, JSON.

Funds Administration:

1.- Master's Degree in Business Management with experience in project planning, execution, monitoring and control.

2.- Relationship with the Cardano LATAM community and projects such as Gimbalabs, GameChanger and Token Mithrandir.

3.- Participation in LATAM CIP 1694 WORKSHOPS.

4.- Need for Growth of the Cardano Community in LATAM.

What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

The main goals of our project are:

.- Develop a platform for the organization of an autonomous and decentralized higher education, on the degree, certificates and study programs that increase participation and governance. 100% of the FUNINTEC Academic community.

.- Integrate 100% with the Cardano blockchain and allow to guarantee the transparency, security and scalability of Diplom₳d₳.

.- Promote the construction of a strong community. From 10 members currently to 160 members in a year.

Our focus:

.- Development and testing on Testnet and Preprod Network to ensure it meets project goals.

.- Collection of user feedback during the testing phase to validate the feasibility and ease of use of our solution.

.- For the implementation, we will use an agile development approach, which will allow us to incorporate feedback.
