CREATION OF A CARDANO CLUB IN BUKAVU CITY IN DR CONGO

Please describe your proposed solution.

Blockchain ignorance cardano and the absence of clubs in Bukavu City are the problems that negatively affect the students in Bukavu City in the sense that these young students do not know or ignore the blockchain cardano but also these young people are unaware that our current world is controlled through technology given these negative impacts, this is why we wanted to propose a solution to create clubs in Bukavu City which will have the advantages in the area of education, economy and technology. This project will involve all the young students from Bukavu City because they are ignorants in the subject of blockchain cardano but also in the matter of technology. Our project will have a positive impact because it solves the problem of ignorance in the area of blockchain and in the area of technology.

Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community.

The creation of a Cardano club in Bukavu City has a positive and remarkable impact on the development and flourishing of the Cardano ecosystem due to the fact that the presence of this club in the environment will be able to:

· Stimulate students in Bukavu City to integrate into the block chain cardano ,

· This club will organize training on the blockchain in Bukavu City and help the population to keep their valuable documents and information on the block chain ,

· The club will introduce the youth of Bukavu City in the DRC to cardano opportunities through the project catalyst ,

· It will facilitate the youth of Bukavu City in the DRC to appropriate technology and invest in it by initiating various training courses related to the handling of computer tools (introduction to new technology),

The target population of our project is made up of students from 2 universities of Bukavu town (ISDR Bukavu and UCB).

We thought of this category because it is made up of young people who always have a taste for learning and who need to be initiated to learn responsibilities and the destiny of the future world in their hands. This future generation must be updated to move forward with the pace of the world's evolution to facilitate sustainable development because without technology, no development is possible.

To measure the impact of our project, the following plans have been developed:

 • Setting up a timeline of activities will allow us to know which activities or stages have been completed and which remain in the implementation of the project and this will allow us to regulate the acceleration of project activities.
 • The development of an action plan: This will allow us to plan the activities to be carried out in time and space.
 • An activities monitoring and evaluation team will help us regularly monitor the execution of our project and produce reports with tangible evidence testifying to the concrete implementation of the project.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

Cradano ecosystem can be summed up on several levels as follows:

 • Firstly, we participated in several training sessions and workshops with Goma Wada Hub (Two Cardano summits including that of 2021 and that of 2022 and one of 2 training courses in block chain cardano ),
 • Our team is made up of courageous people who have sufficient knowledge of IT and Block Chain,
 • Our team is made up of evaluators in project catalyst (Bottom 9 and Bottom 10)
 • We participated in hackathons talking about blockchain in general, and many other online workshops,
 • We are in contact with developers and other members of the Cardano Goma club who have capabilities in blockchain technology, the latter will be involved in training members of the new Bukavu's club on the Cardano bockchain

Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources.

For the budgeting of our proposal we took into account the rate of $0.25 per Ada taking into account the variation in the price of Ada that we have experienced in past months.

Milestone 1: Design of an activity plan and identification of students:

Costs for designing an activity plan:

 • Payment 3 designers: these designers will each work 15 hours, and will receive $12 / hour = 3 Designers x 15 hours x $12 = $540 or 2160 Ada

Identification fees for the universities and students concerned

For this activity 2 people will be sent to the field to identify universities and students:

 • Transport by boat out and back: $45 per person, we have: $45x2 people = $90 or 360Ada
 • Accommodation for 2 days: $30/dayx2people 2 days=$120 or 480Ada
 • Catering: : $15/day x2people x2days=$60 or 240Ada
 • Consultation fees from the authorities of the identified universities: $150 or 600 Ada
 • Communication and media: $75 or 300Ada

Subtotal: 4140 Ada

Milestone 2: Student Training on the Cardano Blockchain

For this activity, 3 trainers will leave the city of Goma for the city of BUKAVU to ensure the training of students on the cardano blockchain for 4 sessions

 • Motivation of trainers for 4 sessions: 3 trainers, including $45/Days/Trainer = $540 or 2160 Ada,
 • Transportation of 3 trainers by boat back and forth: $45 per person, we have: $45x3 people=$135 or 540Ada
 • Accommodation for 3 trainers for 4 days: $20/Day/Trainer=$240 or 960 Ada
 • Catering for 3 trainers for 4 days: $15/day/trainer=$240 or 1280Ada
 • Communication and media: $100 or 400Ada
 • Rent a training room for 4 days: $50/day = $50 x 4 days = $200 = 800 Ada
 • Rental of equipment for training: $150 or 600 Ada,
 • Catering for participants for participants:

- Number: 55 people

- 55 Food dishes of which 1 dish costs $5 = $275 or 1100 Ada

- Drinking juice: 4 cartons of which 1 costs $5 = $20 or 80 Ada.

 • Motivation for 50 participants to use cardano wallets: 10 Ada per person = 10 Ada x 50= 500 Ada

Subtotal: 8420 Ada.

Milestone 3: Create a secretariat as an income-generating activity for the survival of the club and meeting office

 • Office/secretariat rental: 12 months including $100/month=$1200 or 4800Ada
 • Office/secretarial equipment :

2 Computer machines of which 350$ x 2 = 700$ or 2800Ada

· 2 Printers: EPSON L850 = $580 or 2320 Ada and HP LASER = $450 or 1800 Ada

· 2 tables including $70 per table = $140 or 560 Ada

· 8 chairs including $35 per chair = $280 or 1120Ada

· Operating and Administration costs: $500 or 2000 Ada

· Electricity for 12 months including $50 per month = $600 or 2400 Ada

· Subscription to Canal box for Internet connection in 12 months $53 = $636 or 2544 Ada

Subtotal: 18024 Ada

Milestone 5: Monitoring and evaluation of activities and reporting

· Production costs for detailed final project report: $250 or 1000 Ada.

Subtotal: 1000 Ada

Total project cost: Ada 31,584.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

Ø Project authors: Qualified personnel will be in charge of executing this project in a rational and reasoned manner.

Ø Relevance: The development of this project took into account the real and essential needs of this project, which will allow it to be carried out without any compromise.

Ø Sustainability: This budget was developed taking into account the period during which the project will be executed.

Ø Profitability: This budget took into account the current cost of materials according to the quality required.

Ø Impact: The budget achieved has a very positive impact in the execution of this project because it is the driving force behind this project. Without this budget, the project cannot be executed as desired.

Ø Qualitative result: Through this budget, we will achieve desired and quality results according to the objectives we set in carrying out this project.

We are aware that this project presents good value for money because the rate considered for the conversion of Ada into USD is reasonable, but also the prices that we have assigned to different materials, agents and services are reasonable and acceptable in our environment.
