Catalyst Streaming Guild - Events
This charter will create a community of Catalyst Streamers. Streaming live events and re-runs of recent events will drive attention and participation in Catalyst. As a small active community, we overestimate our reach. The Community creates lots of ideas but does not retain them due to lack of Human Resources. Increasing the Reach of Proposers and Live Community Events directly Hunts for Outside Attention, drawing Human Resources to our community. Funding aimed at the Facilitation of Coordinating groups, allows that group to be actionable NOW.
The gap between turning 1-hr long biweekly calls into teams and full projects is still quite hard to quantify. During the Fund 7 and 8 season, another Guild, The Treasury Guild <https://cardano.ideascale.com/c/idea/399116>, formed to help community initiatives manage their funding and publicly display Catalyst Treasury data.
This proposal aims to receive funds to execute open community events to link two important ecosystems with each other. The Proposal is definitely placed in the right challenge and fits to the provided challenge brief and requirements
Open Source Dev Eco System Guiding Questions this proposal addresses ::
- How can we develop a sustainable ecosystem while sharing knowledge and efforts?
- How can we ensure future efforts benefit from the work that is funded today?
- How do we align between different open source community efforts?
- How can we encourage experts to collaborate and share their knowledge and work?
