To address the solution we are finding, we plan to built three main templates and themes that projects can use as a kickstarting template.

The start themes we intend to create are as follows:

• Theme for stake pool operators to gain delegation and create delegation gated content,
• NFT based projects and artists wanting to use content and NFT gating features
• ISPO based projects that want detailed dashboard for their delegates but don't have the skills to design and build the dashboards.

These themes will be delivered as open source projects that users can freely use to build the base of their websites.

How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

Building on Cardano is hard, creating engaging and professional experiences required design, development and other skills that these projects owners don't have on their own.

Having this kick starting option will help project owners bootstrap their projects and start off on the right foot with a professional looking website that meets their requirements.

This overall will help with adoption of users building on Cardano. Having more free and open source tools to use will help more users start building on Cardano.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

The core metric that we will use to measure success is the number of downloads of the starter themes. The delivery of the themes will be done via our website in our download manager which allows for download metrics and statics.

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

We plan to share the results and various updates via our social media channels, website and the Learn Cardano YouTube channel.

This will be done on a monthly basis as well progress through delivering the project.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

The overall goal of the project is to give users better and more visually appealing starting options for their website. We will deliver three different starter themes for the three different use cases identified.

Currently the starter theme is very plan and the websites that are going out at the moment all share the same look and feel.

All new websites that are using the starter themes will look modern and professional.

We will see more CardanoPress users with professional looking websites as opposed to the clunky outdate ones that are being produced by our community at the moment.

Please provide a detailed breakdown of your project’s milestones and each of the main tasks or activities to reach the milestone plus the expected timeline for the delivery.

Milestone 1: Scoping (2 weeks)

Working with the community and current users of CardanoPress to determine what they would like to see in these starter themes. The team will create wireframes and collate styling ideas for the starter themes.

Milestone 2: Design (1 month)

The team will take the wireframes and ideas to create various concepts for the community to approve. Since they're the ones that will be using it, we might as well have them approve the process.

Milestone 3: Development (1 month)

Development of the three themes once the designs have been consolidated and approved.

Milestone 4: Deployment & Delivery (2 weeks)

Packaged delivery of the themes on GitHub, and the CardanoPress.io website.

Who is in the project team and what are their roles?

This project will be completed by the project owner, Peter Bui, Designer Martina Kocian and WordPress developer Gene Torcende.

Peter is the creator and owner of the CardanoPress project. He is a Cardano YouTuber for the Learn Cardano Podcast and contributor to the Cardano ecosystem as a Cardano Ambassador and project ambassador for projects including:

• Genius Yield / Genius X
• Fluidtokens
• Project Newm

Peter has had over 15 years of experience designing and building websites for clients around the world, providing technical services, support and training for open-source powered website.

Martina has been working as a designer along side Peter for over 15 years, designing websites for clients such as the High Court of Australia, Australian Finance Review and many more high profile clients in Australia.

Gene is a well versed WordPress developer with over 10 years and experience building WordPress websites and plug-in integrations for various websites around the world.

Peter and Gene have been working together servicing clients in Australia for over 5 years.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The costs are determine by industry standard rates that we charge through our own WordPress & web agency from experience working with clients over the years.

Our rate is set at $110 USD.

This is a fairly average rate for a web agency based in Australia. The average salary for a senior PHP developer in Australia is $150,000 AUD per year.
