Solution

Build tools for Cardano (not a part of this grant application) and meet corporate buyers where they are, representing Cardano at Salesforce tradeshows (> 200,000 people) annually and regional groups.

Problem

Bringing payment solutions to existing corporate systems requires technical solution in Salesforce and driving awareness. Cardano is underrepresented where corporate decision makers vet solutions.

Cardano on Salesforce Go-to-Market

Please describe your proposed solution

Web3 Enabler is primarily a blockchain marketing company selling to corporate technology leaders in the Salesforce ecosystem.

We will build technical tools for Cardano (not a part of this grant application) and meet corporate buyers where they are at. We will be attending Salesforce Tradeshows that reach over 200,000 people annually, as well as regional Admin groups to bring awareness of the solutions we are building with the Cardano Community.

Salesforce holds various events and Tradeshows around the world.

Technology leaders, such as CTOs and CIOs, Solution Architects and Administrators gather at these events to learn about the latest Salesforce products and how they can implement them within their organizations. Salesforce ISV partners like Web3 Enabler run booths to get their products in front of executives from companies like IBM and Williams Sonoma.

We propose to represent the Cardano blockchain at the following events.

  • Dreamforce: This is the largest annual Salesforce trade show.
  • World Tours: World Tours are Salesforce conferences that take place in major cities around the world. Web3 Enabler plans on appearing at 10 World Tours within the 12 month duration of this proposal (all in continental United States or Europe, where our team members reside). Our CEO may have a product roll out secured by our advisor, a former Salesforce employee, at New York City World Tour.
  • User Groups: These are special interest groups within the Salesforce ecosystem. Salesforce user groups are created for Salesforce users within certain geographic regions. Others include a women’s group (Women in Tech Network), blockchain professionals and enthusiasts (the “Blockchain Blazers” group).

Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community

This is a unique opportunity to reach Salesforce users who are vetting and implementing solutions within their companies.

We plan to represent Cardano at these major trade shows, as we educate Salesforce decision makers about available blockchain solutions.

  • Personally connect with 150K companies, including 90% of Fortune 500 companies use Salesforce
  • We are the only authorized ISV Partner selling Native Blockchain Payments in the Salesforce AppExchange.
  • $45B annual AppExchange sales for accepted products from Salesforce ISVs. In 2024, Salesforce received more revenue from their share of sales from ISV partners than their CRM products.
  • Salesforce decision makers and implementation partners will have the opportunity to see the ease of using blockchain payments and how it can fit into daily operations of mid to large businesses and their enterprise software.
  • One example of an ISV is Blackthorn (Stripe’s Salesforce partner). They charge a high per Salesforce license to process credit cards and ACH payments natively in Salesforce. That is in addition to the 2.9% transaction fee charged by Stripe.
  • Salesforce is treated as the “business dashboard” for many industries and has infinite customization capabilities. Providing in person instruction to the people creating these customizations Web3 Enabler will further Cardano adoption among industries they have not been able to penetrate to date.

We also offer a Japanese translation of this proposal, because international accessibility is important to us.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

We have the team to successfully drive adoption of Cardano within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Our team has been attending Salesforce tradeshows for 3 years. Our CEO, Alex Hochberger, has been attending them for 5 years. Having served as Chief Marketing Officer of two companies, Alex's focus has included both live events and in person sales.

We are members of the prestigious Salesforce independent software vendor (ISV) program, and we are the only ISV partner building blockchain payment integrations native to the platform. This took 18 months of coordination with Salesforce stakeholders and an extensive security review.

Our Advisor and investor is a former Salesforce employee and current implementation consultant. He is in the process of securing the CEO a speaking spot to roll out the blockchain payment product to thousands of Salesforce users. Sponsorship of a standup, side event, additional “swag” and travel costs (total cost of $23,000 for each conference) will ensure we have a stake in the success of the event and will show up for the speaking engagement. Cardano will be included in branding and as a grant partner during the product roll out.

We plan to have representation from Web3 Enabler and Cardano and 2 of our Director and VP level Salesforce contacts at these events.

What are the key milestones you need to achieve in order to complete your project successfully?

Milestone 1: 10 World Tour Events:

World Tours are Salesforce conferences that take place in major cities around the world. Salesforce Architects and technology executives attend these events to learn about the latest Salesforce apps from Independent Software Vendors like us who present at vendor tables.

We plan to represent Cardano in the following ways at 10 of these events within the 12 month period described in this proposal.

We plan to do the following at each of the 10 World Tour events:

  • Stand Up “Sponsorship”
  • Side Event - Join with the local Cardano community
  • Additional “Swag” (adjusted throughout year based on what is successfully given away)

Milestone 2: Representation of ADA for Salesforce at Dreamforce (Salesforce's largest annual conference):

Dreamforce is the Salesforce ecosystem’s largest annual conference. Technology leaders and decision-makers from around the world gather there.

Independent Software Vendors partners like us who present at vendor tables to teach corporate decision-makers about our products.

We plan to represent Cardano in the following ways at Dreamforce 2025.

  • 10x10 Booth “Sponsorship”
  • Side Event
  • Cardano T-Shirts
  • Other Cardano Swag
  • Travel Related Costs

Final Milestone: Sponsor 20 User Groups:

A Salesforce user group can contain individual users, other groups, or the users in a particular role or territory. It can also contain the users in a particular role or territory plus all the users below that role or territory in the hierarchy.

We plan to represent Cardano by sponsoring 20 user groups in the following ways within the 12 month period described in this proposal.
