The majority of projects depend on cloud infrastructure, specifically infrastructure as a service. This offering greatly expedites node deployment and minimizes entry barriers for developers and projects looking to engage with the blockchain network.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

This is an small project and success is measured by the successful deployment of the node in Microsoft Azure Marketplace. Interested users can easily measure success by directly searching for the keyword 'Cardano Node' on the Azure Marketplace.

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

We are publishing the documentations and instructions on telegram, discord, twitter channels including a video demo on how to deploy your node.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

Our team consists of former IOHK employees, bringing a wealth of multidisciplinary expertise in Web3 technologies. We have the necessary knowledge and experience to navigate the complexities of blockchain implementation and ensure the success of this project.

What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

The main goal is the deployment of the Cardano node on a public offer in Microsoft Azure Marketplace, and to ensure the approach we are using the documentation provided by Microsoft Azure team and their support as escalation point.

Our team roles and responsibilities for the project are:

  1. Blockchain Architect and Developer - Fernando Ontiveros former IOHK Solutions Architect (Cardano, EVM, Parity, Hyperledger Fabric, Truffle, BigChainDB, Chain, ZCash).
  2. Technical Consultant - Roberto Intriago former IOHK Technical Consultant (MBA, Innovation Manager)
  3. Software Quality Assurance - Alejandro Rodriguez
  4. Project Management - Ilan Melendez, former IOHK Project Manager (MBA, Certified PMP, ITIL, Professional Scrum Master, and Product Owner. Advance certified in Design Thinking and blockchain consultant).

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

Considering the average time to deploy a node takes 8hrs and its a pre-requisite to start a project, and the average cost of a DevOps Engineers is $130 per hour.

The return of investment is retrieve on the 9th node deployed, considering that there are thousands of nodes on the networks, the saving is countless for those projects on Microsoft infrastructure.
