Cardano needs Math Teachers

Please describe your proposed solution.

Train 100 Math teachers in Haskell approach to programming and get them to train their students to use Haskell

Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.

Driving adoption and increasing capacity to grow the cardano developer ecosystem

What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

We may run the risk of adoption to block chain as it is not so well understood

We will endevor to make it clearer by working with other members of the community

Please provide a detailed plan, including timeline and key milestones for delivering your proposal.

1.Design a course online course that supports Mathematics teachers in Eastern Africa to teach functional programming to the children they teach include teaching methods for ease of learning and Learner motivation

  1. Select 100 Mathematics Teachers to be trained from data bases and requests from Country Teachers Services Commissions
  2. Invite teachers to the 3 month course in
  3. Enroll teachers to the course and also the community
  4. Train Teachers over a period of 3 months at
  5. Teachers establish Cardano clubs where coding using Haskell is taught and practiced
  6. Document Success of the project and preset the teachers at a event

Please provide a detailed budget breakdown.

  1. Create Haskel for teachers course on Moodle 4000
  2. Select 100 Mathematics Teachers to be trained from data bases and requests from Country Teachers Services Commissions-communication 1000
  3. Invite teachers to the 3 month course in communication 1000
  4. Enroll teachers to the course and also the community 1000
  5. Train Teachers over a period of 3 months 1000
  6. Teachers establish Cardano clubs where coding using Haskell is taught and practiced 1000
  7. Document Success of the project and preset the teachers at a event 1000

Please provide details of the people who will work on the project.

Angela will design the course and place it on Moodle and she will also train

Anne will mobilize the teachers

If you are funded, will you return to Catalyst in a later round for further funding? Please explain why / why not.

I may depending on the issues that come up in the course of conducting the training

Please describe what you will measure to track your project's progress, and how will you measure these?

The completion of the task is that the teachers are trained and clubs are set up in the schools

What does success for this project look like?

100 Math teachers trained to use Haskell and children start using Haskell to code

Please provide information on whether this proposal is a continuation of a previously funded project in Catalyst or an entirely new one.
