Please describe your proposed solution
The event, "Cardano Coding Day", will be structured as an 8-hour hands-on programming workshop designed to guide participants through the process of building DApps using Aiken, Cardano’s programming language for smart contracts. The event will take place in three provinces: Buenos Aires, Mendoza, and Córdoba, ensuring a broad reach and impact across Argentina.
Morning Session:
- Breakfast and Welcome Networking: Attendees arrive and enjoy breakfast while having the opportunity to connect with fellow participants, mentors, and instructors in an informal setting.
- Welcome Talk: Introduction to the event and its objectives.
- Introductory Session: A foundational talk on Cardano, covering its core principles, ecosystem, and why it’s an attractive platform for developers.
- Aiken Basics: An introductory session on Aiken, focusing on its syntax, structure, and how it integrates with the Cardano ecosystem for building smart contracts and DApps.
Midday Break:
- Lunch and Networking: A break for lunch, providing an opportunity for participants to connect with each other and engage in relaxed conversations with mentors and instructors.
Afternoon Session:
- Hands-on Workshop: A step-by-step practical session where participants will build a DApp with real-world use. The goal is to provide a guided experience where attendees can follow along and actively build the application themselves.
- Project Showcase: To close the event, participants will demonstrate the working application they have built, allowing them to see the results of their learning and development efforts throughout the day.
This solution addresses the need for more specialized Cardano developers by offering comprehensive training on Aiken and providing practical, hands-on experience that results in a functional DApp. By hosting the event in three different provinces, it maximizes accessibility and engagement, promoting community growth and skills development while fostering the adoption and integration of Aiken in real projects across multiple regions.
