Cardano Blockchain Vietnam Meetup: Strengthening Cooperation and Connecting Cardano with the Community

Please describe your proposed solution

Problems and Current Situation:

1. Cardano has been around for a long time but is not widely recognized by business owners, project leaders, and individual investors in Vietnam.

2. Marketing activities for Cardano in Vietnam are generally weak, primarily spontaneous, and unofficial.

3. The Cardano community in Vietnam is extensive and primarily online-based, with limited official offline events. This situation restricts opportunities for members to interact and collaborate effectively.

Proposed Solution:

Organize regular meetups across Vietnam's northern, and southern regions, focusing on the two major cities: Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City, where most individual investors and businesses are concentrated.

The 2022 Global Crypto Adoption Index

The 2023 Global Crypto Adoption Index

  • Significant Virtual Currency Ownership: According to data from the payment portal Triple-A, Vietnam holds the second-highest rate of virtual currency ownership worldwide, with 21.2% of the population owning virtual currency, trailing only behind the UAE at 34.4%. This underscores Vietnam's emergence as a significant player in the virtual currency market.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

Budget Overview:

The budget calculations are based on the reference quotes provided below. While actual costs may vary, I will ensure that expenditures remain within the recommended limits.

With the current budget allocations, the cost per person for a 75-person offline event, which includes many expenses, such as gifts, an MC, and marketing expenses, averages $30 per person. This represents a 23% savings compared to the market average of $40 per person.

For an online event, the cost per person averages $16, yielding an 18% savings compared to the market average of $20. (Please see the below calculation table for details)

These cost savings, combined with the significant impact of this project on Cardano, demonstrate excellent value for money.
