Cardano 10City is an awareness creation project which seeks to boost the awareness of the Cardano Blockchain and Ada among tourist in Ghana. Ghana boast of amazing tourist sites which receives tens of thousands of visitors.

Hoisting a Cardano flag as well as having a brief awareness creation of Cardano among the tourists at these sites will serve as a great step in spreading Cardano in Ghana and Africa at large.

The project also aims at engaging with owners/operators of these tourist sites (Hotels, Resorts, Restaurants etc) on ways to integrate Ada payment systems into their business operations.

In Phase one of the Cardano 10city project, I aim to visit four (4) tourist attraction centres to evangelize about Cardano blockchain.

Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community

The successful closeout of this project will result in the increased adoption of ADA among tourists in Ghana and Africa.

Additionally, hotels and tourist sites will begin to integrate/accept ADA as a payment system.

The number of tourist sites which begin to accept and integrate Ada payment into their daily operations will serve as a barometer to measuring the success or impact of the project

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

The main proposer is a Ghanaian who has been resident in Ghana for the past 40 years. He knows over 20 tourist sites in Ghana. This will facilitate the execution of the project.

The proposer has an appreciable knowledge of the Cardano blockchain as well as some dapps that run on the blockchain utilizing AdA.

The Proposer has been part of project catalyst since Fund 9. He has worked as a Moderator (L2) and community reviewer (L1) over the years

Milestone 1: MILESTONE 1

1. Making calls to secure permission with 1st tourist site - Kintampo water falls.
2. Travelling to the tourist site to hoist flag of Cardano and evangelize about the blockchain and Ada

Final Milestone: Collection and Analyzing Data

The data received from the 4 tourist sites will be analyzed and posted for the community to see the impact of the project.

Who is in the project team and what are their roles?

This project will be solely executed by me. I will perform the following roles

1. Make calls to secure appointment with operators/managers of tourist sites
2. Make travel arrangement to all the 4 tourist sites
3. Make hotel reservations to cover the number of days I will be spending at the tourist site
4. Meet with management of tourist sites to discuss the possibility of integrating Ada into their payment systems.
5. Getting extra pair of hands to help with other axillary activities. (I will seek the help of some volunteers at the various tourist sites to help me with certain tasks.)

The total project cost a little over 0.5% of the total fund allocated for this category.

The budget outlines a detailed utilization of every ada requested for. The benefits this project will bring to the cardano ecosystem will be tremendous. Thereby bringing value to the ecosystem.

The cost of items listed in the budget reflects the adjusted cost of services in my country considering the rate of inflation.
