Please describe your proposed solution.
University/College IT students are potential resources for creative ideas. When these students are oriented and supported they become meaningful participators in Project Catalyst.
Startup projects of IT students often got challenges in writing projects and raising capital. If these projects can be implemented on Cardano, they will be a perfect match for each other: Cardano diversifies project participants, Students get their projects funded fast and the result will be to diversify the Cardano ecosystem, ensuring sustainability in the future.
According to the report by Topdev, Vietnam will be a destination for many big corporations because of its abundant human resources. We have about 57,000 IT students graduating each year from 153 Universities and institutes
Our project aims to reach out to lecturers and students to raise awareness of Cardano and the opportunities that exist if they could work as Proposer, RC(L0, L1 , L2), Challenge teams, and Voters. We will provide fundamental information about the Cardano blockchain, introduce the programming languages, share the opportunities in Project Catalyst, and how to participate. We will accompany lectures and students in writing, submitting ideas, and applying for funding on Catalyst. Support them in project implementation and management after their projects get funded.
How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?
The challenge requires growing the Cardano ecosystem in an inclusive and supportive way. By raising the awareness of Lectures and students in Universities about blockchain and the Cardano network, and supporting them to become active participants in Catalyst with different roles (Proposer, RC(L0, L1, L2), Challenge team, voters) We believe the above requirement is completely resolved.
"How do we attract developers from outside of our current community to participate in Catalyst?"
The funded "Cardano 360 events for University" will accompany other proposed topics in the university, supporting them to come up with ideas and implement ideas on the Cardano platform.
When the project is successfully implemented, it will significantly change the following criteria:
- The number of proposals originated from Universities in Project Catalyst
- The quantity and quality of funding proposals originated from Universities
- The number of participants of the Catalyst with a variety of different roles.
How do you intend to measure the success of your project?
We will track the success of this project by measuring the following metric :
- Total number of events we delivered
- Total number of participants who attend the events
- Total number of surveys
- Total number of proposals summited to Ideascale from Universities
- Total number of proposals assessors.
- Total number of 1 to 1 support sessions
Our KPIs should be:
- At least 24 events will be delivered at Universities.
- Estimate about 1000 participants to attend the events.
- At least 06 surveys
- At least 10 proposals will be submitted to Ideascale when project ends
- 150 students attending the seminar and sharing sessions
- 40 dedicated sessions for 1 to 1 support.
Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?
We will share weekly offline meetups at coffee shops with open spaces at technical Universities. To share the outputs and results of our project, we have the following plans:
1.Project Reports (PoM and PoA):
We will submit a Statement of Milestones (SoM) which will be published, reviewed, and approved by Community Reviewers. In each Milestone, we will public Proof of Achievement (PoA) to provide evidence that the milestone for which they have already been paid has been achieved.
2. Public outputs/results on our website
We will outputs/results on our website at cardano2vn.io where interested individuals can access our update proactively. Discuss or query us about any topics they prefer.
3. Share output/results to Online platforms (Cardano Forum, Facebook, Telegram, Twitter, Youtube, and GitHub):
These will be places we share updates, success stories, and best practices. These will allow us to reach a larger audience and gather feedback and suggestions from the community, fostering a collaborative approach to decentralized identity adoption
